Secrets Tides Punta Cana All Inclusive - Adults Only

Pro: Beach is one of the nicest beaches I’ve ever been to. Drinks are great (pretty standard for secrets hotels). If you are a preferred guest, Luis was an amazing butler. Cons: I don’t think I would recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I be coming back unless there are some major overhauls to the food and service systems. At the very least all staff should present a welcoming atmosphere consistently for all guests and food should come out hot. Anything beyond that can be improved upon little by little but these 2 points should be the most basic features that a Secrets hotel should consistently have.

The sports bar is the best spot at the resort! Francisco is THEE best!! He took care of us, made sure everything was top tier 👌🏽 he’s my favorite at the resort!! Also shoutout to Frex, Rosmeln and Cesar—dream team crew 👌🏽

From the very moment we arrived we were greeted with a drink, hand sanitizer, and a cold towel for our face. We chose Secrets Tides because we felt like it was the resort for some much needed relaxation. The staff was always very attentive to our needs, especially the ladies at the Preferred Club pool, we never had to wait long for a drink and they were always smiling even at the end of a long day. Housekeeping was always on top of making sure our room was clean and stocked with fresh towels, they even came around in the evening to see if you needed anything after being outside all day. The food was very good, there were plenty of items to try and the wait staff was helping you almost immediately after sitting down and didn't have to wait very long for our food. So with our first time being there we felt that the resort was beautiful and well worth the money.

Absolutely incredible experience! Secrets Tides was lovely. We went for our honeymoon and it was more than we could have ever asked for in a resort. We were fortunate enough to get preferred treatment while we were there and our butler Jeury was absolutely incredible, and so sweet. He took SUCH good care of us. The food was fantastic, the staff was all incredible and the vibes and ambiance were stunning. Thank you so much for such a special trip!

Stunning new property with gorgeious landschaping and large beautiful modern rooms. I tad spread out but level and great for accumulating steps. Staff is fantastic and food terrific for the most part.

Since 2023 my wife and I have visited multiple AI including secrets akumal and moxche, excellence riviera cancun, playa mujeres and both excellence properties in Punta Cana (just included as a gauge for what I judged it again. Secrets tides was a great vacation. It was consistent in terms of accommodations, service and quality that we had at previous secrets resorts. For Pros: The resort is still very New, and has a modern feel. It’s a very easy to navigate layout, and all the main areas were nicely appointed. Not quite as nice as the excellence resorts but nice none the less. The resort did not feel crowded at all and there was ample room for seating and no need to wake up at an ungodly hour to reserve chairs. The Amazon restaurant was especially good. We enjoyed the top shelf liquor, good cava and wine, and well made drinks. The resort uses actual juices not mixes for its cocktails which is good and they are all well mixed and measures. We liked how all restaurants including the Buffett were open at night and we never had to wait to eat. The food was fast and delicious. The coffee is good, drinks are some of the best and most consistent we have had at a AI. Some of the staff that were especially great were Wendy and Felix from the buffet and seaside grill and alberdly, deserie who kept us well hydrated around the pool. The staff was quick to fix anything that was wrong, one night the mini bar wasn’t refilled and it took one phone call and within 20 minutes it was fixed Just some minor complaints, the Room was hot at night, and there was a musty smell which left as we stayed and moved the air around in the room. The only real negative is the lack of lunch and breakfast options for none preferred member. The buffet was good, as was the grill, but I’d rather have an a La carte on the beach like other AI in the area. We did not upgrade to preferred club and from talking to others it did not seem worth it. The only real negative was on our last two days the resort hosted a large event of 300 people from a local business in the DR. they completely took over the resort and it was hard to get a drink or even food at the Buffett. The poor staff did their best and the resort management really shouldn’t do that or at least bring in more staff in preparation for the mass influx of people. All in all a great trip and we would return! But if comparing it to the two excellence properties on the same beach I would go there instead, depending on price.

Having previously vacationed at a Secrets property, selecting this property was a no brainer. This was a quick mother daughter trip planned through Delta vacations and one we were excited to take. Upon entering the gate to the property, we knew we were in for a trip. The grounds are exquisite and the from the beginning the service was truly phenomenal. We checked into the Preferred Club and our Butler Jonathan led us to our room. We had a garden view room and it was really nice. There was a variety of restaurants and it was nice to take advantage of the Preferred offerings from the exclusive pool and bar area and also the select breakfast offering. Jonathan checked in on us each and every day. So grateful for his attentiveness and professionalism. Now to recognize the staff: Let me first begin with our butler Jonathan! He truly made our experience one of a kind. From the initial introduction he was very kind, professional and truly engaging in our interest. He would connect with us each day to provide the Sundial and ensure all our needs were met. He even made sure we had a reservation at the Meraki for a teppanyaki table. And on the very last evening, he made a special tribute for my mom which was above and beyond, and a total surprise to my mom. Truly outstanding service from beginning to end and we were so grateful to have met him. Our sever poolside was also AMAZING! I can’t remember her name, but she was on the side closest to the beach and oh my goodness was she the best! Every time I even thought about needing a drink she was there. So kind and so friendly. The last person I want to recognize is Ramon in Meraki. He was an absolute gem. I truly appreciated his candor and making the night fun for us all, not to mention great food. Loved his skills and professionalism too. Overall a wonderful experience that was made very memorable by everyone we interacted with. Choosing this priority is an easy yes and one you won’t regret. Book it and enjoy paradise!

Beautiful resort that is clean and good quality. Service is good and good selection of restaurants. Rooms are very nice and roomy . This was our first time to a Secrets resort and we will be looking to them for future trips

Overall very beautiful resort! They work hard on the keeping the beach area very neat and clean. Beautiful pools. The staff always went above and beyond for your needs. Very laid back but might be a touch too quiet for me.
