Secrets Tides Punta Cana All Inclusive - Adults Only

Location - first time in DR. 40 min drive from the beautiful Punta Cana airport. Atmosphere - calm and romantic. We could always find a place to just the two of us. Rooms - fantastic layout. We had a non preferred swim out - very quiet- very clean. Value - the resort is luxurious enough that you do not need to spend the extra for preferred. High level of service without paying extra. Staff - the friendliness of the staff and the amount of available staff makes the resort feel like it’s at half capacity- it was at 90% while I was there. It was amazingly calm and relaxing. Food - though you may read about complaints of the food quality. It’s not possible to please everyone. The food was great. The buffet had a lot of options. The restaurants were always readily available and the food was mostly excellent.

Nov 19th to Nov 26th 2025 This resort was impressive. Easy check-in. Excellent staff. New (2 years old) and flawlessly maintained facilities. A very well appointed room with a decent amount of tech. Housekeeping crews did a great job of cleaning our room, as well there’s nightly turn down service which is a very nice touch. As one often returns from the beach around 4 or 5 to shower, the team that does turn down service replaced our towels. Nice touch. The beach was extremely well maintained. Seaweed being an issue in the Caribbean, it’s mechanically cleaned multiple times a day. In the morning they run a small machine between all the beach chairs to pick up straws and cigarette butts that many clients sadly are too lazy to pick up themselves. There’s an endless supply of fresh beach towels as well as numerous places around the resort to drop them off when you’re done with them for the day. There’s rarely a shortage of staff wandering the beach to see if you need a drink. We were frequently served by Michael (hope I spelled that right) who was outstanding. À la carte restaurants were all excellent and no reservations are required, except for the Teppanyaki Table. My personal favourite was “El Patio” which serves great Mexican fare, Seaside Grill (Steakhouse) served a really decent piece of meat cooked to perfection and the Seafood (Oceana). Their house wines are also of very good quality, this isn't always the case when one travels south. The buffet is well designed in that the area where one gets one’s food prepared is a completely separate room from the where one sits, so you’re not looking at people having their omelette made while you’re eating yours. Speaking , there were 2 or 3 omelette stations. Great selection of very fresh food. In the dining area, there’s tables for 2, 4, 6 and 8, depending upon your group size. We were frequently served at the buffet by “Ivelisse" and she was courteous and accommodating, an excellent representative for the quality of staff at Secrets Tides. For those that wish to eat lunch at the Beach Grill (Barefoot Grill), it has a pretty limited number of tables. The “Preferred-only" clients have access to a restaurant near the beach for breakfast and lunch which seems to have many empty tables, which was a pet peeve of mine. Though we would walk up to the buffet for lunch and were never disappointed. As well they have a private pool for “preferred”-level clients only. Worth noting; the resort seems to be completely wheelchair accessible. Ramps everywhere with smooth transitions between different surfaces, and all buildings have elevators. There is even a hoist for lowering people with limited mobility into one of the pools, as well as a reserved palapa at the beach for wheelchair access. There is a fitness facility that seems very well equipped for those that like to work out. One interesting insight, we had dinner at Portofino with friends one evening, the husband had had an episode that landed him in the clinic the night before while dining at another restaurant. As we were leaving Portofino, the hostess asked which of us was from Room 13##? They had heard that someone had had a health issue the night previous. Our friend responded "it was me", and they inquired as to whether he was feeling better, which thankfully he was. I have NEVER seen this level of concern for the guest experience in any other resort. We've been south at least 30 times, and this is hands down the best resort I have ever been to. Would be more than happy to return.

Francisco is so awesome and friendly, he really cares and makes sure you have a great time! He provided great service always checking in on us when we visited the sports bar :) He is one of the staff I looked forward to seeing as his smile is contagious. He is a super hard working ensuring every guest has a 5/5 experience here at Secrets Tides! Yay for Francisco.

• Breakfast staff – Felix, as well as the ladies who meet you upon arrival to the buffet, all recognized us as previous guests and welcomed us once again with their warm smiles. Felix continued to cater to our every need, always anticipating our morning drinks and in general exchanging pleasantries and asking us if we enjoyed the previous day/night. • Preferred Club pool staff – Angela, Jorge, and Yoselyn were on top of it. They worked hard, were attentive and friendly. Proactively sought us out whether we were sitting poolside or floating (they’d bring them right to us no matter where we were). o Wenski and his pool concierge team (Gabriel, Edwin, Javier) greeted us every morning and checked on us throughout the day. Gisela would often walk over to provide us with fresh towels and Smileyn’s name suits her perfectly. She was always smiling and helped us out with umbrellas and keeping us dry when the rains rolled in; literally whatever we needed, she made sure we got it. • Food truck – great additional option for preferred guests. You could always order something fresh and a la carte; good selection of options. The ladies working in the truck were polite and courteous. Rafael came up to us as soon as we sat down and raced right up to the bar to get whatever drinks we wanted. • Barefoot grill – while not the traditional “barefoot” type of grill we’re used to with other resorts in the brand (more sit-down style requiring coverups), the menu was expansive and included pizza, which was a really great extra! You could order what you want and they’d box up for you to take back to your chair if so desired. • Entertainment staff – Everyone is great! Very enthusiastic and felt like family by the end of the vacation; really connected with all of them - namely Teddy, Joan, Alejandro, Sander, Justin, Franklin, Mayra, Magna, and Jefri. They offer a great variety of games/activities, and their enthusiasm is infectious, which makes you want to put yourself out there and give it a try. • UVC – Rube always had a smile on her face and worked tirelessly to make sure our room was exactly what we hoped for in our return trip. • We were lucky enough to have Luis a third time as our butler. He is the best and truly is considered family to us. He truly went above and beyond this trip as he was able to help us with a few extra requests that we didn’t have in our prior visit(s). • Restaurants – we have no complaints at all about the food. Great selection and very flavorful choices. There was a resort employee named Any who is responsible for making sure guest experiences at all the restaurants surpass expectations and she most certainly did that for us, particularly so at Meraki where the manager (Jhon Belen) and chef (Christian) prepared off-the-menu dishes and drinks to enhance our experience; made us feel very special. Any was literally at every single restaurant and was always requesting feedback on how they can make further improvements to enhance the guest experience. We have seen consistent improvements in the quality of the food and menu offerings since our first visit. Continuous improvement is very clearly a top priority at this resort. • Lobby staff – Providencia, Rosa, and there were two Maria(s) that all stood out for us at Rendezvous. • Accommodations – we booked a preferred club tropical view and received a free upgrade per the terms (pending availability) of our UVC membership. And Rafael kept the preferred club extras (M&Ms/pringles), and the mini bar filled with anything we needed at any given time. • Gym – this is the best gym at any of the UVC properties. Hands down. And David was always pleasant, helpful with the equipment (if needed by the guests), and made sure all the areas were clean and in good working order. • Alvaro – Much to our surprise (having only met him briefly during our July 2025 visit), he and our butler Luis met us upon arrival. He embraces his role as Guest Experience Manager with the highest level of sincerity; truly wanting to know how to best serve each guest and give he/she the most memorable experience. He not only manages, he works. He’s helpful (and takes action) no matter what the immediate need is. He is the epitome of what top-down management should look like, and its easy to see why he is so highly respected by all the resort staff.

My wife and I found this to be a very relaxing and entertaining vacation experience. The service we received from the Secrets Tides staff was always respectful, timely and thorough. The people were very friendly and accommodating The resort itself was beautiful and extremely well maintained.

Girls Trip Nov 2025!! Fun times in the sun with girlfriends. Secrets Tides checked all the boxes!! Resort, Rooms, Facilities were beyond expectation. The lush greenery throughout the property was incredible to look at and well cared for. Pools were clean, with plenty of room for everyone to lounge, no scramble for towels or sun chairs. The "lively" pool by the beach was where we spent our days, with drink server Alberly, he is very attentive and accurate with the drink orders. All the servers in the restaurants were great but Alberly was our favourite by the pool. Entertainment crew (Gregory, Franklin, Justin, Sander Magna) were some of the best, we had a lot of fun poolside - dance classes, Spanish lessons, bingo, bowling, water fitness, volleyball, cornhole, live DJ. Craft workshops like macrame keychains, bracelet making, sombrero decorating with Jindia and Mayra was a great way to make-your-own souvenirs! Food was fresh and plentyful. Lots of made-to-order options in the breakfast buffet. Barefoot Grill for snacks like nachos, pizza, chicken burgers by takeout, so not to lose anytime in the afternoon sun!! We absolutely loved restaurants: Tierra (Peruvian Amazonian), Seaside Grill (steak house) and Meraki (Asian and hibachi show). Oceana (seafood) was our only disappointment, undercooked fish fillets and burnt prawns. Didn't eat in the Italian or Mexican restaurants. The evening events - silent disco, karaoke, and neon beach party are not to be missed!! Good fun...dancing and singing, with lots of guest participation...but all quiet again by 11'ish, which is nice for those who want to end the night. Otherwise, the sports bar is pumping tunes late!! We'd go back, already considering an annual trip.

We loved this place. Have been to 8 secrets resorts and will say this is probably our second favorite. Gonna take a lot to beat Secrets Maroma beach for the experience we had there. We are frequent travelers in our 40s. This resort fit us very well. Will say I think preffered club is worth it here simply due to the view from the pool and the less of a crowd on the beach under the palapa.

Book this one! You will love this amazing resort. From beach to pools to food but most of all the amazing staff! Definitely a return trip in our future!

Overall the resort was good. We did a master swimout but it was a waste. No sun and very cold. Pool entertainment was not really there, very quiet.

Smokers everywhere - on the beach, in common areas (pool, lobby). Absolutely insane that a resort doesn’t enforce their own rules to ensure other guests are comfortable.
