Abbey Apartments by Barsala

Very pleased with booking this apartment. Very spacious! Great location for going to Downtown and Convention Center. Also walked to the nearby area by Westend Market. Great restaurant choices! Extra bedroom had a mattress that was pretty soft but King in master was firmer. Kitchen setup good but there was no toaster so I was glad I already had one since I had been traveling for a couple weeks ( really think they should have that!). The property fees seemed high and really don’t know what that covered other than cleaning??? Plan on booking for our Tradeshow again next year if available.

The area was super cute, quiet and quaint and within perfect walking distance of Ohio City itself which made the night life all the more enjoyable! Room was expertly designed and all instructions were clear and easy to process!

Everything needed was provided. Check in and out was easy.

Very central to everything, we walked to the baseball games and all the bars. Very clean and friendly staff.

Very well maintained building. Building has a nice gym and common spaces. Nice appliances. Roku tv. Zero support staff on site. Zero accommodation for common needs (towels, bath soap, shampoo) Only two towels total were provided for two people over 2 nights. Only 3 pillows provided for 2 people. Kitchen was austerely appointed (no cutting board). There was a washer and dryer, but no laundry detergent provided. The blanket for the bed is a throw blanket (extremely thin and used for couches) and there wasn’t an opportunity for an additional blanket. A dish towel was not provided. Until the property gets it together, bring - your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - Extra Towels - An extra pillow - Extra blanket - A dish towel Overall, there were some lux commodities, but the unit lacked basic necessities. The experience was not seamless. You shouldn’t need to run to the store for a bunch of items for a two day weekend. It’s basically like going camping in a nice building. It has the capacity to be excellent, but it needs work.

Fridge was broken, no tissues of any sort were provided. But on good note, nice and safe location within walking distance of a lot of restaurants.

Stayed in two bedroom, two bath apartment. Very modern building with modern amenities. About three blocks to rail station where it is one stop to go into downtown. Many walkable food options, including the West Side Market. Area is quiet. Booking office was there to answer questions and check out was beyond painless. Will definitely stay here again if needed.

This is an empty place with no service. If you try to contact them, they will refuse to fix anything but lie to you.

worst experience. lockbox code didn't work. No one to assist us. Person on the phone was clueless. Another guest in the lobby said he had the same issues the night before and had to crash on the couch. The guest who let him crash on his couch said the room had urine stains. He also had to buy more pillows and blankets from Walmart. The first guest and I had to scramble and find a relocation. Hotels.com was awesome to assist and relocated to a higher establishment at no extra costs in price difference. We were lucky to have booked it through Hotels.com to get the assistance with relocation.
