Majestic Hotel & Apartments

The lady at the front desk was amazing! We needed to switch rooms due to the steps and she made it happen with ease.

The stairs are falling apart and unsafe (we were originally on the 4th floor so this was a huge issue). The rooms were in poor condition and the furniture was the most uncomfortable furniture I've ever sat on. One bedroom had no overhead light or a lamp. Another bedroom had a lamp with no shade.

We loved the closeness to the boardwalk. It was so nice being able to just walk right onto the beach from the hotel. The heated pool was very relaxing.

The apartments were very outdated but spacious enough for the family. TV didn't work during our stay and there was mold on one of the chairs. The rooms were very musty smelling and that was like that the whole stay.

It's dated, but clean, and you can't beat the location. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The Majestic isn’t so majestic any more. Over a 100 yrs old as I understand and the facilities show it. The owner needs to do some *BASIC* repairs, like BLINDS in the room, so you won’t be awoken by sunlight streaming in your room, whether u want it to or not. Worn carpet. Tiny bars of soap for the shower instead of liquids is passable, but the *TOWELS* looked as old as the hotel!!!

The door wouldn't even close properly. We had to properly it closed with a chair to prevent people breaking in. The breaker was tripped and we had no power in half the place for the first day

The main parking lot was full during our stay we had to park a little further away. The pool was detached from the property we had to walk across the street. The rooms were very outdated.

Location was the only benefit.

We did not get the room we reserved. The rooms were disgusting , filthy, and in disrepair. We needed to seek out clean towels and linens, and when we requested TP, we were told they only had 1 roll in the entire complex to spare. I was not expecting "The Ritz," but I've never experienced this degree of deliberate neglect. DO NOT ENTERTAIN THE THOUGHT OF STAYING HERE, YOU WILL BE HORRIFIED.

The room was generously sized and very clean. The bed was relatively comfortable, a demon the room included a table with 2 chairs, a fridge and a microwave .

The room door does not automatically lock. You have to manually turn the knife lock before leaving the room. The cable was out - which they called and told me Thuraday before I came up Friday... it was still out on Sunday - not sure why there wasn't any visible effort to fix this... Finally, the elevator was down Fruday night... thankfully I was only up 1 floor.
