The Bellwether Hotel

Beautiful and so clean , close to everything

The location is ideal. The hotel is located on Bardstown Road and within walking distance of many restaurants including Heine Brothers coffee shop (1/4 block away), a super market, liquor store, a bookstore and bakery. The hotel also has a French cuisine restaurant, Peppers, beneath the hotel open from 5 pm to 10 pm with outside dining. Parking is on the side street near the hotel and spaces are always available. Seltzer, bottles of water and even batteries for the t.v. remote are provided in a cabinet in the hotel lobby upstairs. Although there is no front desk, the hotel management was very prompt in responding to any questions we had.

Suggestions for the management: The hotel needs to provide a place in the room to hang clothes, even if it is only an out of the way clothes hanging bar. Also it would be good to have a bath matte available in the shower for traction when guests are taking a shower.
