Sonder Market Hall

The bed was nice, and the kitchen amenities were fine.

Both of the Kitchen were torn up and shabby, they should've been replaced long ago and in fact I sent in snapshots of the chairs on my first day to the reservation desk via email. No response has been received. The unit was extremely noisy, music until all hours, loud and the loop was too much-I couldn't sleep at all during my time there. I called the concierge number and was left on hold and hung up after 20 mins. I will never, ever recommend this sonder to anyone and in fact I will be writing a review of my experience. Both the room and the concierge service were inadequate.

This was a clean and comfortable room, in a good location, and had excellent facilities, hygiene products, and the like. Overall, I was happy with what was available to guests, aside from my major complaint--which is a big one.

This place is literally located above an electronic music nightclub. On the weekend, it is loud until the wee hours of the morning, and if you are on a lower floor, your entire room will shake because of the bass. I found this to be an extremely odd choice: to put guests in a condo hotel right above a loud nightclub.

As someone who hates to have to talk to people outside of work, the setup of the key code and housekeeping was perfect. I just had to show up and drop my bag in the luggage storage until it was time to check in. It’s in a great location when considering proximity and also peace and quiet. Will book again for feature stays

Everything is of highest quality. They really have thought of all the details. You have everything you need to stay for a short of a long while really conveniently. The design is beautiful and tasteful and the bed is really comfortable. The place is spacious, clean and very well attended. I loved it

My only complaint is the noise. The downside of it being located in close proximity to multiple bus stops and tram stations, the sound of the tram is quite loud in the room and it runs all night long. I managed with earplugs and a white noise machine that they provided me but if your sleep is light, it’s a disadvantage

Location was good, room itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The noise and vibration from the nightclub downstairs was incredibly loud. I couldn't sleep even after Sonder provided earplugs and a white noise machine. It's really not an appropriate place to have a hotel. I will definitely not book this location again unless I were planning to go out myself and come home after 3am.

Our hotel room was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The bed was comfy and and tidy as well. HOWEVER, I would definitely hesitate to recommend staying here as there is a nightclub that was directly below our room. The middle of the night we were awoken (both nights) with very loud, raucous partiers, shouting and laughing and car horns(uber rides) jockeying for positions. The blowing hits were incessant. That’s too bad because other than that, for the price it was a fine place to stay. This was our second stay there. Not sure we’ll be back unless we get a room far away from the revelers

Property was very clean Passcode didn’t work at first getting into the room had to make a few attempts and then reached out through the chat option and then I was able to get it

Great location, easy to get around with a train station a block away. Large comfy bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything I needed. Having an in-unit washer/dryer was convenient. Enjoyed having a TV as well. It was nice having a water refill station on each floor. Appreciated having luggage storage lockers for late checkout. Some people mentioned hearing noise from the nightclub downstairs, but I didn't hear any even on the nights they were open (I was on the top floor though). I only heard the humming of the trains passing by, which didn't bother me.

The building itself could use a little maintenance and cleaning, specifically the stairwell. The elevators are a bit slow. I didn't use the gym, but it seemed small. No oven available though I didn't need one.

Place looked great, lots of amenities, clean, beautiful space. However there was no front desk and kind of confusing to get booked in. WORST OF ALL after a long night in Chicago all we wanted to do was sleep but we were kept up until 4am from the night club on the first floor. Would not stay again unless i was there to party haha.
