Pioche Village Park City

We liked this place. It was clean and not very crowded. It’s further from park city than I thought. It’s across from jordanelle which was kind of annoying for late night snack runs. Still fun though :)

I booked a stay at the Pioche Village in Park City. I was trying to make it for the same night. Put in the booking at 11pm and wanted to stay that night. After a difficult journey to find the property, as GPS took us through a different gated property to get there, I arrive to discover that there is no mechanism for checking in at that hour...no desk clerk and no phone answer. Worse still, I look at the booking and realize it put me on for the following night...I didn't notice this until the moment I was in front of the property. With no option for reaching a live agent, I had no choice but to stay elsewhere. As I had booked through Hotels.com, I had to try to get refunded through their agent. He says he tried, but that the Pioche, declined to refund me, so on top of it all, It was a waste of $. My hope is that the Pioche Village may see this review and do the right thing. In your court

This is a brand new condominium complex with high quality finishes and amenities but they still have a few things to work out with their rental game. I booked a Queen bed and twin futon room that indicated it could sleep 3 but was only provided towels for 2 people and there was no bedding for the “twin futon” which is just the couch in the living area. Staff was limited so it took a while to get the additional towel set but they could only find a couple of duvets with no covers for the futon. They couldn’t find any sheets for the futon. My daughter was fine with the setup so not a deal breaker. Our unit had nice furniture and high quality appliances, but could have used some bedside lamps in the bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked to support cooking and serving 8+ people. Unit had a dishwasher but no cleaning pods/etc. or dish towels for drying. Tons of closet space for ski gear, etc. Fantastic gym/yoga space and game room with arcade games, air hockey, pool table, and ping pong. Right across the street from the Jordanelle gondola to access Dear Valley skiing. It does take a bit of time and multiple lifts to access the better skiing areas of the resort and also to get back to the condos. There are no food options near by so be prepared to stock up in Park City for coffee/breakfast. Also, endless construction nearby.

Basically Condos that they are selling and renting out until occupancy comes up. Hardly any condo owners to be seen. Steam room is in separate building, but each building has its own pretty nice fitness room

Such an accessible area and so convenient for skiing as shuttle to gondola is right across street.

We enjoyed our trip. Pioche Village could improve their orientation and welcome to unit and the area Didnt provide WiFi code or anything written on use of lights heat appliances or tv. TV was you tube and had no idea how to use it. Unit was sparsely furnished and needs additional mirrors and hooks. No teaspoons. More coffee would be helpful. Seems to be a work in progress as very new and felt like we were first to use Thank you

Upcoming area, very isolated but enjoyed the solitude.

The property was as pictured in the ad. Very clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchen. Close to Deer Valley Ski Resort (could walk to a lift) but Park City Ski Resort is about 15 minutes by car. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again when we return.

...you would think that a brand-new condo complex within walking distance of a Deer Valley gondola for a reasonable price would be a good deal. Alas, you would be wrong. The walls in our condo were PAPER-THIN. You could literally hear the conversations (and everything else) in the adjacent units. Thankfully, the complex provided youtube so that we could put on "river sounds" at high volume to drown out all the noise. If this were a 1970s Super 8, I'd get it. Yet, for a condo built in the 2020s? Insanity.
