SWARGA HERITAGE HOTEL - A TRADITIONAL STAY

The owner gave all information about the hotel and the area clearly. I love that it is clean, cosy, nice staffs.

A unique, visually beautiful hotel traditionally renovated and furnished. Customer service was excellent as was the location. The front open courtyard was a peaceful oasis, lovely garden breakfast & meeting place.

I had no issue with the stairs, but you would need to be aware that there is no lift if you had mobility problems.

Incredibly well maintained property full of charm and character. Staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Breakfast was wonderful value and tasty. So pleased we chose this place and would return. Location is great - the hustle and bustle of Thamel is all within walking distance but hotel is located on a quiet street.

Lack of space in the bathroom to put personal items. Some shelves would be really helpful especially as shower water goes everywhere.

Had an amazing one night stay in this stunning hotel! I'm surprised it is only three stars as it is better than some 4/5 star hotels I've stayed in in Nepal that are much more expensive. The staff and service were exceptional. My room was lovely and had a great bathroom and instant hot water. The breakfast and coffee were delicious and the location is perfect for exploring Thamel and the surrounding area. I enjoyed my stay so much I rebooked for the end of my trip and would definitely stay here next time I'm in Nepal. Highly recommend.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was something special. The owner (an architect that with such pride and love restored this house) and staff didn't just provide excellent service—they went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. It's rare these days to find people who take such pride in what they do, but here, every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and a personal touch that made all the difference. Whether it was checking in to ensure everything was perfect, or taking extra time to accommodate my requests, updating us with precious information about the neighbourhood, their hospitality was nothing short of outstanding. I left not just impressed, but truly grateful for such a thoughtful and memorable experience. Places like this are few and far between, and I can't recommend it highly enough! This level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. If you're looking for more than just a place to stay—somewhere you’ll feel truly cared for—this, is it. I’ll absolutely be returning and recommending this gem to everyone I know.

The rooms were beautifully furnished with local handicrafts and everything was very comfortable! The breakfast was also excellent !

Népal is my 81 country to visit and Swarga boutique hotel is definitely in the top 10 hotels I have stayed. Not only it is absolutely beautiful, very nicely curated ( my daughter is an interior designer and loved it) but the kindness of the owner, of the staff they went the extreme extra mile to make it an absolute amazing experience for us! They helped us with everything ( mistake in reserving, problem with luggage… you name it) they couldn’t have been kinder. The breakfast was also fantastic( choice of Nepalese, American etc) so if I ever came back to Nepal I would definitely return here!! Thank you soooo much for treating us so well!

This place is a charm. The well thought out and cozy rooms, cafe all works for your inner self! I have loved the coffee here. An additional bonus to an already enchanted self.
