If I could give more than five stars I would. Truly a hidden gem!! The rooms are clean and comfortable, so comfortable that I slept all night in a bed which I haven't done in over a decade. There are plenty of outdoor activities here or you could just sit by the lake with your thoughts. I'm only sorry that I just had one day there. I will visit again for a longer stay. You'll also see the owners around the property and everyone was as nice as can be! This cute small town screams America!

I booked Bells Marina for a last-minute trip, and I couldn’t be happier with my stay! It’s conveniently located right off I-95 in Santee, just 15 minutes from my morning Starbucks and Food Lion—so convenient! I stayed in a kitchen unit, which was super nice and clean. It had everything I needed for a quick breakfast, and I could tell they’ve upgraded this hidden gem recently. The bathroom was spotless, and I loved staying on the 2nd floor. It was so quiet—I didn’t hear any noise from my neighbors, but the owners thoughtfully provided earplugs just in case! During my road trip, I needed to do a quick load of laundry, and the lady at Bells Country Store was so sweet and helped me get quarters for the on-site laundry. The bathhouse and laundry room were spotless and well-maintained. The location is perfect and located on the campground and has such a friendly campers. Everyone, from the campers to the staff, was so welcoming and helpful. Plus, having a gas station, restaurant, and store all on-site was a huge bonus! I’ll definitely be coming back in the near future. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Noisy Hotel with thin walls

Thin! The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Imagine trying to explain to the kids the couple in the next room are trying to make a baby. Imagine trying drive with no sleep. They even provide earplugs, but they don’t help. On top of that, someone on staff tried to force their way into my room when I was NAKED, standing in the middle of my room. Chain was on the door, TV was on, but he tried twice to force the door open. I complained, but management ignored it. FURTHERMORE! they shut the water off without any notice AT LUNCH TIME, when i had pizza grease all over my hands. I called before the trip to change to a room with a kitchen. I was told to wait until I got there, but no one had gotten the memo and was too busy running the register for me to insist.

Very comfortable, nice view

Just a nice little multi lot sight, campers and boats and a small motel. Plenty of amenities and fishing. Quaint and quiet. Affordable and comfortable.

Had a great stay. Beds were extremely comfortable. Having þhe shop on site was helpful. Good security, good staff. Only complaint was the on site restaurants breakfast buffet was subpar. Cold eggs, hard stail biscuits. We had a great stay overall.

The rooms has recently been remodeld and we're very nice. They offered great views of the lake and had everything you would need for a pleasant stay

Check-in is in the gas station before you pull in which is interesting but there was clear signage saying so. When we arrived, the lake is right in front of you and very pretty and you can see it clearly from the room. The room smelled really nice. However, there was A LOT of hair in the bathtub that was super gross and when my daughter tried to take a bath (after me washing it out), the stopper would not work and kept draining the water. Also the shower head leaked water pretty bad as I was running her bath so that was hard too as it got water everywhere. We were only there to sleep but we wouldn’t stay again. The neighbors were also crazy loud and kept us up past 1am when we had to be somewhere at 6am.
