S&S HOTEL

We had a fantastic and spacious room with an incredible view. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the bed was both comfortable and large. Even though the hotel was fully booked (according to the receptionist), we didn't feel crowded at all; the atmosphere was calm and quiet. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. Every day, we were provided with bottles of drinking water. The breakfast was excellent (especially fresh juices and tasty coffee), and the cocktails were amazing! We enjoyed the pleasure of having the ocean and the swimming pool to ourselves.

We came for our honeymoon, and although I noted this when making our reservation, the hotel did not prepare anything special for our arrival. Not even the flower petals that the cleaning lady had put out for us after we left her some tips. While there is no law or general rule requiring special treatment for newlyweds, it is quite common in many places, and it felt frustrating not to receive any. Although the staff were friendly, it didn’t seem like they were willing to go "above and beyond." For example, I requested that our breakfast be packed for us because we wanted to leave early in the morning to go snorkeling with dolphins on the other side of the island. I specifically asked for boiled eggs and fruits, requesting that they omit the bread, but they said they couldn't accommodate my request. It seemed unreasonable, considering it literally takes just eight minutes to boil an egg. Instead, they provided us with one banana and a few pieces of bread. Additionally, the prices for lunch and dinner are unreasonably high and small. There are several restaurants outside of the hotel that offer much lower prices, higher quality, and tastier food. The room and the surroundings were clean. The sea view from my room was beautiful. Breakfast was good. 24hrs pool access.

The room did not have a television

Breakfast (included) was excellent. Each and every one of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went beyond! Chef did a great job of the purchased meals as well. Pool was kept clean. Love the set up of the accommodations.

We weren’t aware in advance that we had to pay cash for the transportation and excursions. We would have made sure that we had enough cash rather than have to travel in to Paje to get cash.

My wife and I are checking out of S&S today and we will truly miss this paradise. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Our room was perfect, the bed was SO comfortable and the view of the ocean right from the balcony is breathtaking. The location is perfect, close enough to walk right on the beach and also walkable to the nearby plaza and shops in the village. The reviews are real and Irina is such an amazing person we absolutely love her. Don’t hesitate, book the reservation directly through the hotel for a better price & stay for at least a week. Thank me later.

Lovey comfortable Hotel. Located in a quiet part.

Excellent 1. Bed; 2.bathroom; 3. Amount of space in the room; 4.breakfast; 5.staff - special mention for Vincent - so friendly and helpful. We requested a late checkout ($50) and we were able to stay all day with full use of the room etc., this was so useful to us as our flight was going to be very late.

A few weeks prior, we had asked for a room not on the ground floor as it meant a lack of privacy, but unfortunately that’s what we got.
