Lovely view from balcony, room had a sofa as well as desk and Chair. Hotel was very grand and nice breakfast, although shame there isn't more options for vegan, as only had cows milk, eggs and pancake mix. Luckily enough fruit came out when I went back up for more bread. Room was poorly lit and was horrible buzzing from extractor fan /air conditioning unit from outside my room 117, wish I had asked for alternative room as really effected my sleep.
We had a memorable and wonderful stay at Fjordslottet hotel. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and service was excellent. The hotel was overall comfortable and was situated in a beautiful and quiet environment. Gladly recommend this hotel warmly to all visitors.

We stayed for 10 days at the hotel. It is located an hour from Bergen airport and an hour from Bergen downtown as well, in the North East countryside. The staff was always charming and helpful. The room (246) was not big but very quiet. Luckily we had a room located at the bottom of the building. It had two rows of windows which gave a lot of light and a feeling of space. All rooms have a little balconey, and chairs to enjoy the view. We could visit Bergen for a few days and visit as well the area (Dale and Voss were not far as well).
Wonderfull, cozy and rustic historic hotel, we stayed at a very decent period room and had a wonderfull dinner. Excellent staff, and i would definitely recomend staying there for a very relaxing experience
