Group tours with some elderly…coaches bus can’t drop near hotel lobby … Luggage drags up rocks slope😬, running out of hot water for shower 😰😥…??? Omg Check with front desk 🤔 Ask to wait for half an hour 😓. Ended up shower at tour guide room Really can’t believe it . Extremely bad 😟😟😟

Lovely charming hotel in the heart of Fotlandsvåg which we use for business when in the area. Great food and service in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are good, restaurant serves good quality food and they have conference facilities if you need. Think it might be the only hotel in the area.

We were here for a three day seminar in October. Great food and nice meeting area for our group. I would say that their beef dinner was fantastic, along with their chicken salad lunch. The desserts were also wonderful. Breakfast had both cold and warm food. The grounds are lovely and there are also two nicely furnished sitting rooms. The beds are comfortable. They supply baby beds and children`s beds upon request. The staff are great and do their best to help you. There is plenty of free parking. This hotel also is a great place to explore the treasures of Osterøy. Check for openning times for the museums and churches, etc. as this can be limited outside of the summer season. This hotel is about an hours drive outside of Bergen and provides a quiet place to spend the night. There are bus connections; ask the hotel staff for help as it is a bit limited. There is also a lovely Honeymoon Suite that we peeked into. Highly recommended hotel, especially if you want something that is unique and not a run-of-the-mill chain hotel.

Had a dinner with my icelandic choir of retired people. Twenty seven people, we all had the same local deer dish. Everything was first class: the food, the staff and the nature. To get to there you drive through beautiful Norwegian nature Thank you so much!

Small and nice hotel in a quiet small village. Staff is realy friendly, helpfull and professional. Village itself is nice, people are friendly and will talk to you if you find any of them on the road :) Nearby is a lake, and the hotel looks at fjord. Small harbour and beautiful sunsets. Food is good, breakfast is very good. Hotel is sweet as if you are in your friend's or grandma's livingroom. We had a realy nice stay.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. This is an excellent hotel in an old mansion house. It is very quiet an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is excellent I would certainly recommend this hotel.

This is a nice little hotel for the area. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet for sleeping. It has a nice little outdoor area. Views are fine, none of them really face the fjord. Breakfast is nice, the only issue is that there is no espresso, only regular coffee.

Excellent service, great location in a very quiet small town, relaxing atmosphere and complete breakfast. A bit far from Bergen but a very good choice if you prefer to stay away from the crowd. Great value for money!

Old mansion with old decoration. Isolated in beautiful Norwegian vestland-landscape. Small hotel with good service. Excellent food!! Good breakfast. Free wifi. Nature around is fine, you can try to walk up Norway`s steepest road. But otherwise, dont expect to find any services around, it is isolated. Car is a must.

What are you expecting when you come to a isolated part of the world and a small hotel? 5* service and a butler on-call? Definitely come to the wrong place! If you're after peace and quiet, cosy (well, small) rooms beautiful views and a chance to get away from it all, then you've come to the right place! It's very informal (we were greeted and checked-in by the chef!) and friendly, but it is in the middle of nowhere. We had to drive for 20 minutes to the next nearest place to eat! However, I can't say anything bad about it. The room corridors have a feeling of "The Shining" to them, but the rooms are bright and comfy.
