Nothing, room was noisy, there's a lot of noise In the pool,and the reception was very noisy at night plying music and loud talking while guest ate sleeping.

Horrible experience at this location. The manager was very condescending and disrespectful to guests. The pool is not part of the hotel. If you need to use it, you have to consume at the kiosk to buy food. They are using booking.com as bait,and then they wanna charge you an extra 15% additional charge for using credit card or give a receipt if paying cash. Be careful of this location.

Good inexpensive place to stay for a day or two. Annoying that they expect 9:30 AM check out

My room didn’t have hot water when I asked someone they said they will change us rooms and didn’t . I was told by front desk we had included breakfast but when we got to breakfast we got kicked out

From the moment you walk in the staff are really helpful, speaking really good English. The hotel is a stones throw from the Airport and a few minutes walk to the centre. The rooms are basic but beds are comfy and rooms clean. Unusual shower! (The shower head has a heating element in it. Switch to the black dot and barely turn on the single tap. The less water the hotter the shower. Increase flow to cool down, I have added pictures) Be aware, that as with a lot of places in Ecuador you cannot flush toilet paper down the loo/toilet, there is a bin for your paper waste… There is a pool next door that you can use, there is a bar attached so it is expected that you at least buy a drink. The hotel provides towels for the beach free of charge. A very efficient on site laundry service, they give you a canvas bag to fill, cost to wash and dry $10, no folding or frills just clean clothes. They also hire goggle, snorkel and fins for $6 a day, these were at the time of writing brand new and really good. Breakfast is served on the top floor which is open to the sides. The breakfast offers a reasonable choice but super helpful staff offer whatever kind of eggs you want, we had scrambled. There is a water machine in reception so don’t worry about clean drinking water. Anywhere else I would give it a 3.5 but here on the Galapagos it’s an easy 5/5 for me. If you like your luxuries then the Dan Cristobal probably isn’t for you

Despite a musty smell and some difficulty flushing the toilet, the hotel and rooms were generally decent. However, I’m giving 1 star due to poor customer service. Our group of four rented snorkel gear from the hotel at $6 per person for a beach tour to swim with sea lions. We arrived at the beach with great anticipation only to find that one of the masks was missing a lens, making it unusable. The rest of us went out with great excitement only to discover that the valve on one of the snorkel breathing tubes would lock in the closed position when underwater, not allowing air in or out. While the valve opened properly above water, this made it unusable for snorkeling. We informed the hotel representative of these issues upon our return. One person received a $5 refund (of the $6) for the mask with the missing lens, but no refund was offered for the faulty snorkel breathing tube, as it was deemed functional above water. We were disappointed to learn that the gear, despite these concerns, and pleading with the hotel representative, was put back into circulation. So, be warned, DO NOT rent the snorkel gear from this hotel, or your dream of swimming with the playful sea lions may be crushed.

everyone was nice.

The staff was pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean, the shower was warm and contained biodegradable shampoo, conditioner and body wash, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet on the rooftop was delicious! Susanna at the desk helped us with our laundry and gave us helpful tips for San Cristobal. I highly recommend this hotel.
