Galapagos Planet Hotel

Wonderful place to stay, good location. Only downside had a few noisy dogs next door barking all night

The Galapagos Planet deserves at least a four star rating. Though the rooms are quite small, they are clean and the bed comfortable. Strange shower fitting but did work well. An extra small table in the room would be helpful. Staff very friendly. Will hire out masks and snorkels. Small area at the back to dry swimming clothes. Brilliant location as close to sea front. Don't be put off by hotel being 10 minutes from airport. Lovely top floor area with great views of the bay for breakfast. Breakfast good...they make great omelette. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice spot very close to the airport and short walk to main street.

The rooms are very clean and spacious but the rooms are missing many basic amenities. There is no mini fridge, there is no room in the washroom for your stuff, no shelf space in room for anything if I had a used cup I'd have to put it on the floor. Barely room to put suitcase. No room to hang wet clothes. Breakfast is lacking. Very close to airport and a short walk from any restaurants or stores. Great service. Water dispenser for free in lobby. Pool is next door, you need to buy a drink to use. Little bugs come in washroom at night. Probably wouldn't stay there again but I was very happy with how clean they kept everything.

The hotel is a very nice budget friendly hotel that we used while traveling with an Exoticca tour. Our breakfast was very nice each day and the hotel staff were all very accommodating. Dulce was the first person we met upon arrival and she was always available to assist.

I had a pleasant stay at Galapagos Planet Hotel and would recommend it for those seeking a budget-friendly option in the Galapagos. The rooms are equipped with great air conditioning, which was a welcome relief after a day of exploring. The location is convenient, just an 8-minute walk from the main shoreline where you can find several restaurants. Plus, there are fantastic early and evening views of the booby birds, which made for memorable moments. Although checkout is early at 9:00 AM, I appreciated that it allowed for a smooth check-in around 12:00 PM. The hotel is well aware of airline schedules, so it’s nice to get off the plane and check in almost immediately, which made the transition from travel to relaxation effortless. The staff were all very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was the breakfast, which could use a little improvement. However, we discovered that you could order fried eggs or omelets, which definitely made the breakfast more enjoyable. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the airport, making it super convenient for travelers. While it’s not a high-end option, it’s clean, practical, and affordable, making it a solid choice for those on a budget. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the Galapagos!

Hotel is older but appears to be kept in good condition. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Daily breakfast was free. Facility was spotless!Nice pool on 3rd floor. Is a little out of the way to the downtown section of the city. Desk will readily call for taxi service. Those who are CPAP users for sleep apnea will not find distilled water!

There are two sides to this hotel of several levels. The rooms on the right side of the hall from the entrance have windows high up on the wall that open onto a restaurant/party bar next-door. During the day there can be a lot of loud music which seems to stop by about 8 o'clock at night. But it is really annoying during the day. There is an adequate breakfast buffet on the third or fourth floor. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was rather small.
