It’s a little off the main area. You can walk there in 5 mins but doesn’t have a view of the main attractions.

The staff was friendly but seemed to lack hospitality training. A refresher course would do them good. It’s close to the airport but not close to the attractions.

At check in there was no speed-point machine so I had to pay by other means which had crazy service fees on my end, I don’t carry a lot of cash and had to go to the ATM and only 1 ATM was operational on the island. When I got to my room it wasn’t what I’d reserved online and I felt like I was given a cheaper room at a high cost. The breakfast was lackluster and now what’s presented in the pictures online. Access to the pool is paid separate and I wasn’t informed about this at check in. The mini fridge in the room is incredibly loud so you might wanna turn it off at night. There are bugs and ants in the rooms.

An affordable little hotel in Santa Cristobel. Great location to all the tours and restaurants.

It’s location,walkable from airport and malecon and to other interesting attractions.

Photos of the actual guest rooms are mostly accurate. The water is reliably warm which was better than the inconsistent place I was at before changing locations. A refrigerator is included. Breakfast is included (but the official photos are an exaggeration). My room was cleaned daily however the pillows and towels need to be upgraded. The front desk staff was friendly. There is fresh water provided for free (as in most hostels/hotels here). If you’re here for a short time it’s a reasonable place on a budget (3 night was under $150 for me as a solo traveler) but if you’re here for awhile I would splurge on a nicer place with a view, closer to the Malecón. Overall it’s not terrible but JUST OK is how I would describe it for cleanliness and being a little misleading regarding the amenities (breakfast spread, pool, and subpar breakfast service).

My pillows smelled old as if they have not been washed or are due to replace. I did not notice immediately as only some were gross and others seemed clean. The towels are pretty worn and could stand to be replaced. They are clean, but stained. The WiFi ONLY works in the lobby and they do not have quiet hours listed so if your room is close to the lobby the noise carries. There is a siren that goes off regularly on this side of town so if you can’t fall asleep with this noise you may not want to stay here or at least try to ask for a room at the back of the building. The pool is ONLY available if you make a purchase from the restaurant and is only open during restaurant hours (which starts at 3pm). One of the main reasons I picked this location was for the pool and was only able to use it once during a time when a family brought too many of their noisy children. Not relaxing at all. The breakfast staff does not tell you directly that they take omelette orders, I had to ask after I saw another guest had one. One morning I came to breakfast with 20-30 minutes before it ended. I requested an omelette he gave me a choice of ham and cheese or with everything. I asked for everything and even saw him write in Spanish “con todo.” But as he wrote it down it let out a huge sigh as if he was annoyed before he took my order to the kitchen. I got ham and cheese despite ordering in Spanish so I don’t know why there was an issue. The breakfast spread is NOT as generous as pictured in the hotel provided photos. The original lobby and entrance are inaccurate; it has been stripped to nearly nothing now. This hotel is on the edge of town so although it’s probably the first hotel you see, it is NOT the closest or centrally located. The center of town is at least 10 minutes downhill. There are limited restaurants nearby but overall it’s not the most convenient location. A taxi cab is $2-2.50 at most so if you aren’t prepared to walk at least they come by frequently.

The breakfast and the staff were excellent.

The first floor hallway is a tripping hazard and those rooms have Only a small window so high you can't see out it.
