Emerald Hotel Residence

Our stay at The Emerald Hotel was truly memorable. We were in room 907 on one of the top floors, and the view over the city was absolutely stunning. The room was spotless, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming and kind. We want to give a special thanks to Sokmeng, who went far beyond any expectations. When we asked her about Khmer specialties, she didn’t just give recommendations—she offered to take us around the city on her day off to experience the local culture firsthand. Her warmth and generosity were remarkable, making our stay feel genuinely special. Thank you, Emerald Hotel, for such an incredible experience, and especially to Sokmeng for showing us the heart of this city. We’ll always remember this stay with fondness and appreciation.

One note for light sleepers: at night, you can sometimes hear music from the bar across the street. It wasn’t an issue for us, as we slept with earplugs, but it might be helpful for others to know.

Clean, comfortable and good location

The beds are super comfortable (excellent mattresses and pillows), and the rooms are modern and clean.

The common area could be better used - a couch with a TV, for example.

It is very very clean maybe the best place in Cambodia and maybe better than some hostel in the North Europe

For me it is perfect. . I take with me all things ...bit maybe the 🪥 brustheet, or other amenities

We couldn’t fault our stay at this hotel. The room itself was beautiful, clean and massive for just the two of us. The aircon worked amazing too. The staff were so helpful with helping us from everything to SIM cards to laundry and always had a smile.

Amazing staff. Clean. New hotel. Located in a quite area near S21 museum. I slept so good. Matress was hard and confortable 👍

My room mate from china smoking in the bathroom. Not respectful to other guests. Management came to the room and told him no smoking allowed. Bed frame was a bit squeaky but matress was hard and good. Confortable
