Spotless clean and very efficiently decorated rooms. The shower was perfect

The WiFi was becoming increasingly bad with more guests arriving and it finally stopped working The tv shows only Icelandic channels

Never got a confirmation of room number, eventually found a maintenance man on site (luckily) to help find our room. Floors were extremely creaky in the last room on the left. Place was clean very clean, check in process could have gone smoother.

Very nice facility with clean comfortable rooms. Absolutely amazing breakfast was included. Very friendly staff.

Wifi did not work for me at all. Was always "connected without internet" and data in the area was fairly weak as well. Restarting phone didn't help.

Clean and convenient location while passing thru the area on our Ring Road tour.

Noisy large group (10-12 people) occupied several rooms on opposite end of the hallway and were celebrating a birthday. While they observed quiet hours, their early departure was a noisy (and unwelcome) wake-up call.

Staðarflöt Apartments by North Star Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Iceland. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area, with stunning landscapes right on your doorstep. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

We had a wonderful stay, the location was a perfect stop betqeen Reykjavík and Akureyri, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing in the area. Location is near the beautiful hill formations in Vatnsdalur and near by is the Laugarbakki market with lots of beutiful handknitted items. We had everything needed at the accomodation, it was wonderful and cozy after a long day spent in nature of surrounding area. Very clean and cozy!

The room was clean and equipped with basic kitchenette. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet (but because it is in the middle of nowhere, it is only convenient for a stopover). The room code was sent to us on time, that is, 2 hours before check-in (although the messages we had received previously said that we should call upon arrival at the apartment to get the code). At 2 kilometres, there is a gas station that is also a restaurant and operates from 8:30 to 23:30.

There are many negatives about this room, which was the worst of the 8 we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Iceland. It is located in the middle of nowhere and cannot be combined with any tourist destination. However, it is convenient as a stopover towards Reykjavik. During the 2 days we stayed, the internet did not work for even a minute. We sent a message to ask about the internet but received no response. When we turned on the stove and the kettle, the circuit breaker tripped. Fortunately, I know about electrical work and found the circuit breaker panel in the hallway and fixed it. In our room (No. 25), the floor creaked terribly. You couldn't take a step without creating these annoying noises. Unacceptable for a new hotel. The TV was barely functional. I can't recommend it
