Squeaky floors. Beds were just meh—I didn’t sleep well, my mother did fine.

To be honest, we were happy to have a place to sleep in

contact with the owner terrible, after calling the number, woman picked a phone and she asked which hotel. Then she said to transfer my call and she disconnected, after trying to call again she was rejecting my phone. I wrote them through the booking messages about the problem but nobody answered until now. Out of the sudden cleaners appeared and they knew my name and they gave me a key code to collect key. Also I booked a studio with a kitchen but we got a room without utilities..

Nice little kitchenette in the room, and one of the few non-shared bathrooms on our trip!

It was unclear where our room was and there was no staff on site (as expected), but perhaps a bit more signage to designate which building has which rooms would be useful.

L’établissement se trouve au milieu des champs, près du North Star Hotel. Il y a une station-service à proximité. Pas grand chose à visiter autour. Je ne recommande cet hébergement que pour une étape tardive. L’Islande est plus belle ailleurs. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée mais les prises n’ont pas été prévues pour utiliser certains appareils. Le joint de la douche a besoin d’être remplacé pour ne pas inonder la salle de bain. J’ai obtenu le keycode en appelant un numéro affiché dans l’hôtel voisin.

The cleanliness

The number you are supposed to call for check-in was disconnected. Ran into several other guests with the same issue - couldnt check in as the number was disconnected. Took more than an hour before it was miraculously solved by a cleaner of the facilities.
