This was a great room with an excellent view of Seattle's skyline (beautiful at night). It had all the amenities needed and a comfortable bed. It was quiet at night. The area was a bit out of the way but easy to get to via public transport and walkable to the Space Needle.

Everything was great except for the noise of the adjoining residents. I spent 5 nights and only 2 of them were quiet. On one night a group of guests decided to have a party in the common room that started at 2am and lasted until 4:30. Noises on the other nights were primarily caused by loud tv's and people's dogs (whining due to being left alone in the room, etc.) There is little to no sound-proofing in the rooms.

"A perfect, private stay in Seattle, conveniently located in Queen Anne."

10.0

Everything about this accomodation is awesome: - the room: clean, superb bed, microwave, coffee machine, water kettle and sink were available in the room. It also had a spacious walk-in wardrobe, and of course a spacious bathroom as listed. - the host: communication was excellent. Vince answered every email within hours, checked in with me throughout my stay and communicated my responsibilities very clearly. They also prepared a very thorough guest brochure with information about the accomodation, surrounding area, and Seattle in general. - the appartement overall: super clean, with a great kitchen including all amenities, and a very comfy couch in the adjacent shared living room. - the location: the accomodation's location in Queen Anne, right next to a bus stop and a few hundred meters away from an express busstop, is perfect for anyone without a car. From my room I had a gorgeous view over Union Lake, and once I stepped out of the door I could see Seattle Center and the Space Needle (~1km walking distance). - the cost: a total steal, after a quick comparison with hostels in the Seattle area and some cheaper hotels. Well worth the money.

This was not advertised as a hostel like stay. Some of the photos are misleading thinking that you have more amenities that are only yours. We could hear upstairs people walking and if someone’s was in the kitchen you would definitely know. There are hidden cleaning fees as security deposit that they ask of you after booking. Overall not bad but definitely not what we expected.

Would I stay here again? YES! Without hesitation! It's inexpensive, and does the job just like any name-brand hotel would. The only thing that you need to be aware of is there is at least one flight of stairs that you have to go up. Possibly two or three flights, depending on your room location. It's 3 floors. I loved that laundry and detergent were free and available. You share the kitchen with others, but that's no big deal. I was never with anyone else in the kitchen. It's not crowded. I ran into only 3 people and they were super-friendly. This is in a residential neighborhood, so there's no real parking available. Seattle is a hilly city, so if you're walking, be prepared. Every time that I contacted the owner, I had an immediate answer. All-in-all, very positive experience here.

I thought it was very nice that the property owners were tentative in checking in on me! Especially with it not being a “hotel” necessarily, the open communication was very nice and the little write up about the area on the informational site they have was helpful and cute as well. The only issue I had was that there are two transit stops close by, and not being from Seattle I was a little surprised when I saw wild flights of stairs with my luggage. I only had a carry on but after a day of travel I wasn’t anticipating a hike! Google maps certainly didn’t elude to it either but overall the area was safe and very beautiful.
