Casa Mallet by Wynwood House

The location is fantastic, and the apartment was beautiful, featuring a lovely rooftop terrace. I highly recommend this place in Casco Viejo.

Too many steps in the booking process make it unnecessarily complicated.

The place is very nice, spacious, and contains all the items needed for a great stay, including washer and dryer. Communication was good and getting the key is very easy. Location is perfect.

We would have loved to enjoy this place, but the AC did not work so we only stayed in a few hours before we had to move to a different property.

We had a great stay at Casa Mallet. Great location, decorated beautifully, and nice roof deck. Our only complaint is that is it very musty/moldy smelling which made our clothes smell like that as well. When we came in the AC was off so I think that probably contributed to it. Otherwise super cute space l.

The apartment is very charming inside and out! It is spacious and the wrap-around balcony is awesome. I enjoyed my coffee here in the mornings. It is modern and clean with a full size fridge with water and ice, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer- really well equipped and very organized. The property manager, May, works very hard to make sure we have what we need and we are happy. She is an asset to this property. It is great to be in Casco Viejo and I am glad we chose to stay here rather than downtown. Over all this was a great place, really spacious and well maintained with great customer service and I would recommend it to anyone!

The only suggestions I would make are: - there needs to be more hooks or places to hang wet towels and/or toiletry bags in the bathrooms - I am impressed how they work hard to keep all the common areas clean but please use more water and less chemicals. The smell of the cleaning products is SO overwhelming and intense. - please have a knife sharpener available to use. The chef's knife and paring knife were both too dull to cut well. - keep in mind it is on a noisy street - really, it is just noisy everywhere in and around Panama City and Casco Viejo. The back bedroom was quiet but the rest of the apartment can be noisy. Drivers really like to use their horns and it's just a noisy city.

Centrally located, clear beautiful property. I’m ashamed to say I don’t remember the ladies name at the front desk. She was amazing. If she wasn’t at the front desk she responded to every text within minutes 24 hours a day. I can’t say enough about her. She is amazing.

The attention to detail. The little WhatsApp messages. The staff were also so cheerful. Will be back in Jan

This property was above 5 stars . We got the 2 bedroom with the wrap around balcony on the 2nd floor. Our suite was fully furnished. The kitchen had just about any appliance you can think of, nes expresso machine with pods (and more upon request), toaster, microwave, pots and pans, silverware, water kettle and much more. Plenty of bath towels . The rooms spacious with great views. Everything was super clean. Chairs on the balcony to enjoy the outside while reading a book, which also was provided. Great air conditioner.It felt like we were at home away from home . Check in was simple .

We had a great experience. The apartment was incredible; beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed. On our first night, the A/C was broken so we got a free upgrade to the bigger apartment for one night, and it was even more impressive. May (sorry if I've spelled your name wrong!) was great, very informative and always happy to help. The apartment is in a great location in Casco Viejo, which meant we could walk everywhere unless we wanted to travel further afield.

The address on Google maps isn't quite right. It's actually across the street and up a block, on Avenida A between 6a and 5a (rather than on calle 5a). We found it in the end, but it just added a little confusion when arriving. Thankfully, it does say Casa Mallet on the wall so it's not hidden. While the apartment is decorated beautifully, you might want to consider this if you have small children. There is lots for them to get a hold of. In the end, it was fine, but I was worried they were going to break something (but that might just be my kids!).
