Moondance Ridge Bed & Breakfast

We looked for a place to stay in New Paltz. After spending few hours in New Paltz we realized it must be an bed & breakfast type of place and not a hotel / motel. We are so happy we found moondance it made our visit much more special. Great Hosts Lovely Rooms Very clean Great location All you need and above

Kathy and Arnie are the most awesome hosts and Moondance is perfectly charming, comfortable and amazingly well appointed. Beautiful grounds, beautiful building, jacuzzi tub in every room, wet and dry sauna out back, wonderful breakfasts (thanks, Kathy!) and as cozy as can be.

Wonderful stay at one of our favorite bed and breakfasts. We have stayed here many times. Always a calm, serene atmosphere. This was our first visit during the winter. Comfortable, well appointed room…appreciated the fireplace. Breakfast is always a treat…watching the birds adds to the fun. Kathy was spot on in suggesting a new trail and also to recommend the Art Museum at Vassar as a rainy day activity. Definitely a beautiful respite for all seasons.

We stayed in the Starry Night room, which was very romantic and had the most comfortable bed and pillows, jacuzzi bath, couch with streaming services, a mini fridge and was so relaxing and romantic. Kathy provided sumptuous breakfasts and lots of advice on where to go on day trips. We can’t wait to return!

Room was more like a 2 room suite, bathroom was updated, many modern remotes for fan, tv and lights. The property was perfectly maintained and the whole house was exceptionally clean. Kathy and her husband love being hosts and their energy was definitely felt. Breakfast was not overstuffing but all fresh and delicious. Looking forward to visiting again.

Everything was perfect. I stayed one night but would have been delighted to stay longer. I will certainly stay again when I visit the area again. The hot water in the bathroom came faster than I could have imagined. Five Star experience!

My wife and I have stayed at Moondance Ridge many times over the years! There is no other place in the New Paltz area that we would stay at! Suffice it to say, we cannot say enough good things about the property, the location, the clean rooms and the gracious innkeepers, Kathy and Arnie who spoil us from start to finish! The three course gourmet breakfasts are incredible and we constantly bring home new recipes every time we visit! The cozy living room has a comfortable seating area to mingle with friends and a fireplace for those cooler evenings! We always enjoy getting back to New Paltz and Moondance Ridge is one of the highlights.

Our host Kathy was exceptional! Her & her husband were so gracious and friendly. Made this stay like being at my home. The breakfasts were homemade and delicious! Kathy was very generous in giving us passes to get in free to Mohonk Preserve and Lake Minnewaska! This B&B was beautiful and immaculate. My room was the Moondance Suite and it was just beautiful. I would recommend this B&B to all and it is located in the perfect spot, close to everything in town and all the Preserves and local Wineries! Thank You for a wonderful Stay Kathy. I will be back!!!

My wife and i stayed at the Moondance for our annual October trip. We typically stay at another location and figured we would give a B&B a try. Kathy and her husband are super nice. They were very accommodating with my pickiness for breakfast. The room was clean and comfy. The location was fantastic. We arent B&B people but for people who are i would recommend staying here.

My Boyfriend and I had wonderful stay this past weekend! Facility was clean, grounds are beautiful, Kathy and Archie were very hospitable and provided a great breakfast and conversation! We loved seeing their 2 dogs and overall had a wonderful experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed time away, location is excellent close to everything you need as well. 10/10
