Moondance Ridge Bed & Breakfast

What would a b & b guest like to find in order to consider it as excellent? Cleanliness for sure. A quiet, inviting surrounding. A great breakfast. A convenient location. A wonderful host. Well designed rooms. Comfortable mattress. The "Moondance Ridge Bed & Breakfast" has it all in abundance. The hosts alone are worth a trip to this place. Kathy is really good at what she does, & a conversation w/ her is a treat. She met us at the door, & showed us around. We have never had this experience before. There is something else at the "Moonridge" that my wife & I have never experienced anywhere else: It is a certified "Backyard Wildlife Habitat." You can sit in front of a window during breakfast, & enjoy the show. What show? Chipmunks & birds engaging in shenanigans as they go about having their own breakfast! You might be surprised by how entertaining this is. For us it is not a question of if we would go back to the "Moondance," but when. & the answer is: Not soon enough.

Moondance Ridge is a great little escape for couples. My husband and I were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. Kathy greeted us with a very warm and welcoming manner. The entire b&b was very clean, decorated nicely and comfortable!

Clean, comfortable and quiet. What more do you need? The breakfast is fresh and feels like it's locally sourced. Bathrooms are spacious and bed is comfortable - not your typical cheap B&B bed. The host, Kathy, is a genuinely nice person and will take good care of you. Overall a good stay and we'll be back!

Needed a restful break, but also desiring an area with outdoor possibilities and nearby places to visit. Moondance is nicely located to be close enough to fabulous hikes, rides, walks, and sightseeing, but not needing to be right in the heart of all the activity. Kathy was a delight - welcoming accessible, informative - all at just the right levels. We were provided a peak into each of the 4 rooms. Could have happily stayed in any one of them. The pictures and descriptions are helpful for making a choice, but they are even prettier in person. There is a lovely and comfortable common area, with tea and coffee available 24 hours, books and board games. Off they sitting area is an expansive, full of light, eating area that overlooks an outdoor area where some pretty unique looking birds come to feed. Delightful breakfast includes home cooked treats, one day of which were delicious scones a la Arnie, the other mini versions of the memorable Jordan Marsh blueberry muffins a la Kathy. The room was really lovely - comfortable bed and linens, soft towels, a mini fridge with water provided, a sitting area, and a nice sized table with chairs. The room was pristine, with many details, including the availability of a nightlight, two way shades that provided light and privacy, security for entry and rooms. Just what we needed.
