Chamonix Casino Hotel

Although this is an older property that has been remodeled. They made it look great. The amenities are very nice. Unfortunately, as a disabled patron in a wheelchair, I was not happy with the way the building was set up. Had the staff not gone way up and above I would have given an F for wheelchair access. To start, most of the building has carpet along walking corridors that make it impossible to operate wheelchairs. The carpet grabs wheels and almost stops you instantly. Then 90% of doors push buttons don't work. The staff is very curtious and race to assist you when possible. Once upstairs in room area, even requesting handicap room, we where located over 1/2 waydown away from elevators on carpeted hallways you cant hand wheel down. The fire safe doors are almost impossible to get through because of how small they are and how hard they push you when trying to enter room. Then you have to gracefully maneuver around minibar to get into room. The minibar is pressure plated, so if you bump it with your wheelchair, you pay for what moves. Whoever tried to make access available to ada patrons have no idea how hard it is to maneuver through hotel and casino. If you make the mistake of trying to go to Bronco Billy's, good luck. The entire casino is divided by small stairs. The only ramps are outside on main street, so you constantly have to go outside, then use next door to access that area. Which is where most of restraunts are. If you are disabled, don't book here.

They dont clean your room. Even when you ask they just leave a pile of fresh towels and some coffee pods. They didnt even make the bed. Poor service.

Beautiful new rooms and the bathroom is spacious and luxurious. Self parking is a little confusing and far away but they do offer a valet option.

No extra toilet paper and the pool was very hard to find no signs to direct you and not enough trash cans in room, also found a VERY dirty pillow in a drawer under the tv disgusting

Great casino and in room dining. As close to a Vegas hotel as you can find in this entire area of Colorado. Highly recommended to visit or stay, didn’t try the spa or heated rooftop pool but they looked great

The staff at the front desk were wonderful. Hotel is Beautiful! 5 Stars on everything.

We always have a great time here; the staff is great and always helpful. The downfall is that you cannot make phone calls here, if you attach to the Wi-Fi, you can text, but you still cannot make or receive phone calls.
