Chamonix Casino Hotel

This is a beautiful new hotel and casino, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable.

Excellent bathroom and very updated and clean! Good lighting too and plenty of outlets.

A very nice place to stay

Great hotel! Beautiful room, great gambling and a wonderful pool. We ate at 980 prime twice it was so good.

I paid deposit of $172.00 and reserved our room 2 weeks in advance. I was really looking forward to taking my lady to a 1st Class place for a Getaway. Instead, we arrived at the front desk (2:30 pm) to find they had given our room to someone else, and now had to scramble to find US a room. I am a Handicapped 72 year old man and did not appreciate sitting on our suitcases in the lobby till 6:00 p.m., watching 100 other people come in, check in and go up to THEIR rooms, unimpeded. We waited till we were hungry, tired and angry. I had to go pee and the bathroom door slammed shut on my arm, taking chunks out of my skin. Bleeding heavily, I had to use paper napkins supplied by my companion to staunch the blood. A lady Manager came over with a security guard and both told me there "..was absolutely nothing they could do for me, but they could call the EMTs". I refused, not wanting to create a Scene. I asked for "some Band-Aids please" and was flatly refused. They both insisted they "had no such materials on the premises" (I find that VERY HARD to believe. In fact, I DON'T). We finally got a room at 6:00 p.m. I was so depressed and angry at the SHABBY TREATMENT we received, I can never return. What a DISS, from a supposedly top-of-the-line casino hotel. I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT. P.S. a Room Service girl named Ashley swiftly supplied me with a handful of Band-Aids up in my room. Funny, how that works The Service people were wonderful, but the Front Desk and Security people are LIARS and they don't care if you live or die. If I could give ZERO Stars, I would. Beautiful property with excellent dining and casino…. Best in town!

Only concern is that there is a giant window from the shower into the sleeping area. A sliding door conceals it but it can be opened from the outside. Not sure if this is supposed to be kinky or a renovation gone wrong
