it was great

i had booked 5 rooms and paid them 3 days in advance. we all (family with 4 vehicles) got to the hotel at 12:30 pm and had to wait since rooms were being cleaned up and yet 1 room was available for the elder. well the waiting was too long, i had to keep coming back to front offfice for asking rest of rooms availability and finally at 14:00 3 rooms were available for my relatives, which left me none. at around 14:20 i really had to push to earn my room, which then magically appear and i was happy cause finally got to rest after long ride. But sadly it was a smokey room and i was disappointed since i had specifically booked for 5 Non-smoking room and paid full in advance. parking space was terrible. lobby is too small for many people waiting for check in/out. i wish i've had a better experience here but unfortunately i've had not.

Overall experience was ok. However, the pool and sauna is a bit small. Hotel staff was friendly and able to help to arrange a day trip driver to us.

bandung was ok for a short get away , we love the unit deco in kampung daun and shopping was great. food in bandung if you like chillies, then you will enjoy all the spicy stuff , we enjoy the beef and also the bebek and ayam penyet.

Its a cosy hotel and around 15 minutes walk to the heritage factory outlet area. The breakfast is not that great just average. The aircon is not that cold but overall I am satisfied with the stay.

Basic amenities were not provided even after housekeeping. We had to ask multiple times for bath towels, toilet paper and drinking water. Rooms have thin walls, and can get especially noisy during the weekends. Will not recommend for travellers who want a quiet and smooth stay.

I stayed at the Amaroossa for 3 nights based on reviews I had read. I must say my expectations were not met. Jaded & darkly-lit hotel with poor sound proofing in room. You can hear stomping of feet, screams, children running along the corridor, loud function events on the ground floor, children screaming from the pool level even though I was staying near the corner on 3rd floor. Wifi was very weak in the room & connectivity in the lobby or pool cafe was unreliable, with constant drops & difficulty getting connected again. Lobby’s washroom basin taps badly needs maintenance as they are loose & not secured at the basin. Toilet papers never refilled (I had to resort to asking a male staff to bring a roll out from the Gents for me). The only saving grace is that the staff are really helpful when I had issues with the kettle in the room & electrical tripping due to their faulty equipment. I don’t know how this hotel is nearby any shopping streets as it seems forever to get from point-to-point due to the massive traffic jam. Smokers beware, there are no smoking floors except in open areas in the lobby or pool cafe. Doors to the tiny balcony does not open (key locked by the hotel). The hotel provided a complimentary 1-way transfer between the hotel & the airport which was convenient, given the fact that Bandung has unpredictable & severe traffic jams.
