The property is a great location with clean rooms and a nice staff. Domenic was especially helpful when we arrived from west coast travel...changed our room and gave good advice on all. The restaurant is overrated and very crowded and noisy...like the town feels when its packed. Do not book a car with the hotel for the airport....their recommended service did not show up for the 4:30am transfer to the airport.

"Nice enough, but overpriced."

We booked a Premier Room King, which advertised a "partial water view" on their website. It cost more than the city view (almost $1,000 a night), but I splurged for my husband's 60th birthday. As it turned out, all the rooms have city views, we were told upon arrival. I asked a few other employees, who agreed, and 1 said, "ya, this place pretty much lies to everyone about the rooms". All the rooms were nice enough, but way over-priced, but we were definitely ripped off.

"A wonderful stay in downtown Newport"

The finishes throughout the room and location can't be beat. The bedding was exquisite, the bathroom products were excellent, and the breakfast was a lovely offering. Overall, this is a wonderful option if you want to stay close to town in Newport and want a new, luxury stay!

The property still feels like it's in the process of being "completed". It is sparse in some areas (sitting room, the rooms). That said - with the level of care and luxury found in every detail, I appreciate them taking their time to "finish" the property to ensure it reflects what they've represented in terms of coastal elegance.

"Excellent I would definitely return."

The staff at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. The room was available for early check in which was great! Lovely amenities, such as afternoon snacks and delicious breakfast. The room was very comfortable.

A bit loud at night, although it was the weekend of the Jazz Festival and the city was packed.
