Excellent vacation and staying at the Gardiner house was wonderful! Beautifully decorated spaces, delicious food and beverages, friendly helpful staff and easily walkable sites, tours and restaurants!

"Great location if you are headed to Newport and can live without room service."

Great location

It didn’t feel like a five star property. The public carpets looked dated. There was no one at the door to greet you. Staff was not enthusiastic.

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Each member of the staff was helpful and smiling. Our room was perfect with a comfortable bed. The balcony had a great view of the harbor. The breakfast was very good with good food choices. We loved it and plan on returning. We highly recommend the Gardiner House.

More towel racks in the bathroom. However, it is a very minor point that would not affect anyone's stay.
