Shanti was so lovey, a great host! Perfect place to stay, close to the airport if you have just landed or about to fly out! Great start to our holiday.

The property owner was fantastic. She made us feel welcome from the start, and went over and above to make our stay great, including getting up very early in the morning to ensure we got to the airport safely and on time.

This place is just amazing! The room is very clean and huge, it’s more an apartment than a room, beautiful indoor bathroom and outdoor shower as well. The kitchen is big and fully equipped. Wonderful bedroom with a super comfy bed, a wardrobe and a tv. There is a terrace facing a super quiet outdoor pool. Just 5 minutes walking from Jimbaran beach. On top of that Shanty, the owner, is a lovely woman, always ready to help you out! We loved our stay at Donguri house and were looking forward to go back!

A little bit hidden, but near to the beach with a lot of seafood restaurants.

The owner of the property, Shanti, met us on arrival and explained how to use the facilities. We arrived at 12 noon, 2 hours earlier than the 2pm check in and she was happy to store our bags while room was cleaned. She offered to drive us on her bike to different places we needed to get to. She took me to my manicure and massage appointments, she drove us to the fish markets and helped to buy good quality and very reasonably priced lobster and other seafood, she drove us to the grocery shop and back. Nothing was a problem for her to solve - we only had to ask, and she would give us lots of useful information about how to get the best price for our money and how to make the most of our holiday. She was very friendly and hospitable. Another great feature of the property is that it is a walking distance to the fish market. You can buy fresh seafood at the market and get it cooked right there for you. It works out a fraction of the cost you would pay in Australia and can enjoy a variety of fish, lobster, crayfish, shells and so on. We definitely will want to go back and stay at that place again!

Very cozy, clean and quiet place, the owner Shanti was a sweet and charming lady.

Perfect for a night before flying back. Very good location, beach is 10 min away by foot. Shanti, the owner, is amazing. We could leave our luggage there after checkout and got a free scooter for a few hours. For this price perfect

A bit bright in the morning (not enough shades) so bring a sleeping mask

The apartment was excellent value for money. A comfortable bed, the bathroom and kitchen were spacious and well equipped. Shanti was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble.

The surrounding area was a little run down. It was difficult to walk the streets due to the state of the pavements and walking in the road was hazardous due to the volume of traffic. The seafront was nice but the beach was dirty with litter and dog poo on the sand. Many of the beachfront restaurants were run down or derelict.
