The Studio has everything you need, it is in a secured area, close to the beach. Shanti is a wonderful host and helped us a lot. We will come back for sure.

They use some kind of perfume after cleaning that smells like durian.

This is a true gem, run by a lovely lady called Shanty who couldn't do enough for us. She owns and runs a block of 4 self contained units which share a large pool. The units are spotless (and I am very fussy!) well equipped and with a balconly. Only 5 minutes from the airport, one of the reasons we chose it, as we didn't want to risk the Bali traffic on our way home. Jimbaran beach is only a 5 minute walk and there's a basic supermarket at the top of the road. At the price we opted for 2 nights, even though we were flying out at 9.30 on the second night, so we could relax and have a shower before leaving for the airport. When we told Shanty she insisted on helping us with our luggage and waiting until our taxi arrived. If you want a proprty close to the airport you can't do better than this.

Everything was superb! The apartment was super-clean and Shanti was easily contactable. A nice touch was the fan outside.

The toilet seat was loose, but it wasn't a big deal.

AC wasn't strong, lots of mosquitoes, shower leaks everywhere even when I squat in the bath tub with shower head facing the wall. But for the price and a couple of nights stay, can't complain. Shanti was super sweet and friendly.

We needed an apartment with a kitchen because of my partner's dietary requirements, and this was perfect. Good strong aircon, really comfy bed, nice and quiet, a big water dispenser was provided and we had a fridge and a couple of gas rings we could cook on. It's about 15 minutes from the airport but you don't hear the planes at all. Halfway between Ubud and Uluwatu but really easy to get a Gojek anywhere we wanted to go. Kedongan fish market is a short walk away so I highly recommend you get some fresh seafood and take it to one of the nearby warungs to cook it for you. Shanti the owner was lovely and got back to us quickly for anything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

The bathroom has very high ceilings and towards the top of the tiles you can see the beginnings of mould but this would be very easily remedied with a mop and a little bit of bleach. The pool probably needed a bit of a clean as it had been raining a lot, but that wasn't a big deal for us. If you're going during the rainy season be prepared for the driveway up to the entrance to be flooded so bring your flipflops!

Everything else. We booked 4 nights and after arriving at 6pm we checked out the next morning at 10am it was that bad. The location: It's a great walking distance to the beach restaurants but there is not much else around. Very difficult to find somewhere to have breakfast, no other accommodation around, shops and you're walking down dirty backstreets to find anything etc. The property: The accommodation has 4 rooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. The photos are of the 2 renovated rooms but you will be allocated a room at random. We had a downstairs room and it was awful. Had a bedroom with glass sliding doors to the rest of the accommodation. There was only air-conditioning in the bedroom, the rest of the place was so uncomfortable and hot. no couch as pictured in their photos. No twin/double beds. It was very run down, shower sprayed water everywhere and made the tiles slippery/dangerous. We ended up showering outside it was that bad. The Staff: Despite the seemingly glowing reviews of the property and staff, which is why we booked, we had a terrible experience with Shanti. As I said we checked out of the accommodation after 1 night and contacted Shanti to let her know we were leaving and why. She apologised and offered us one of the renovated rooms instead which we declined as we had booked elsewhere. We agreed to a partial refund of 2 of the 4 nights. 2 months later we were still chasing her for a refund. She was rude, abusive and apart from everything else gave every excuse not to refund our money (she said she was away, she didnt know how to refund the money, she was so busy with her restaurant she didnt have time, she had to pay back a bank loan and didnt have the money, she was sick etc etc) It was only when we went through booking.com that they paid any attention and finally refunded our money. Summary: I've been to Bali about 15 times and this was the worst place I've stayed in, and worst experience with staff.
