JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

Fantastic weekend away before the holidays in this beautiful spot in Clearwater! Loved renting bikes and riding over the bridge to enjoy SandKey Beach. Sunsets from the rooftop pool area are truly breathtaking! Enjoyed the heated pool and comfortable beach area. Staff were amazing! Andi on the beach was wonderful and Shannon at the front desk was so helpful. Front desk and valet staff were awesome and drove us a few times in the Christmas decorated buggie! The spa did us a lovely favor and allowed us to shower there after checkout so we could enjoy our last day at the beach/pool before boarding our flight. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset cruise and various walks to the public beach and restaurants close by. Christmas bar was festive and fun! Lots of beautiful Christmas decorations. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and featured great views. Would love to return for another getaway!

My daughter and I had a wonderfully, relaxing experience at the spa. We both received 50 minute massages on New Year's Day. The team did an excellent job of showing hospitality and wonderful customer service. Clarissa, Katie, Chris, Amanda and Miranda.

We have stayed at Marriott properties over the years and have generally enjoyed them. Our 3-night stay at the JW Marriott in Clearwater Beach was very enjoyable, but not our best overall experience. When we arrived our room was not available until an hour after the 4:00 check-in time. Ice was available by request only, and our first request took almost 30 minutes (they got better later, but it’s still inconvenient). About bedtime on the first day, a dog started barking in the room next to ours. We called and security did something to resolve the issue, but we didn’t expect a barking dog in a luxury resort hotel. Valet parking had trouble finding our car one day, which was not what we expected for $45 a day plus tips. These situations fell short of our expectations, and past experience, with Marriott. Even though the beach was smaller than we expected, the balcony view from our room was nice, especially when a porpoise or two would travel by. Sunsets were stunning. The entire site, including our room, was clean, well maintained and well appointed. Other than the noted exceptions, the service staff was helpful and very friendly. Overall, we had a very nice stay, but it was less than we hoped for at $500 plus a day.

Amazing property and service the rooftop and beach access gives you options that other resort hotels do not. Highly recommend.

Check in process was very slow and cumbersome. Beach is small for number of guests.

Had a great experience with my kids. We did water sports like kayaking and paddle boarding and the guy in charge Jason did a great job was patient and even taught my son how to paddle board. We had an amazing vacation and my son has a new hobby. Best part is when we went out on the water we saw a pod of dolphins which made the experience even better

Our second time here. Had an awesome massage by Katie. I was limping in pain when I came in and could actually walk without limping when I left. Thank you so much Katie. You are an angel!!

We had an incredible stay at the JW Marriott Clearwater. The three-bedroom residence was elegant, spacious, and absolutely perfect for our family of six. The views were spectacular—we even spotted dolphins right from our room, which made the experience truly unforgettable. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was such a convenience, and we thoroughly enjoyed the on-site restaurants. The Christmas bar was a wonderful seasonal touch that added to the festive atmosphere. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. A special thank you to Nicholas Tagliatela, who went above and beyond—he even drove us to Starbucks in one of the complimentary golf carts decorated with Christmas lights. His kindness and helpfulness truly stood out and made our stay even more special. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this property for families looking for luxury, comfort, and outstanding service.
