JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

I have a been a loyal Marriott customer for years with Ambassador status. We had a stay booked that we had to cancel in order to visit our new granddaughter. This hotel would not waive a cancellation fee for us even though it was 6 days before my scheduled stay. I talked to 3 people, sent an email to the manager and even engaged my Marriott Ambassador and they still would not waive the fee. Isn’t this one of the reasons we decide to consolidate our spending into one hotel brand? This property places no value on Marriott loyalty. Take your business elsewhere

Avoid this hotel at any cost. The only hardest working people are valet, front lobby and management, I think Sarah are like their own mafia. They treat people if they want or ignore them, even roll their eyes, extremely rude. Not hospital, how do they even have those jobs? My kids didn’t enjoy it, not much to do. Room is basic with black hair in the sink. Rooftop is kinda dirty with a woman sitting and picking her nails, gross.

Miranda is a true gem at the front check-in! She is so kind and keeps the spa immaculate. Alaney did my massage and body scrub, she is the best!! This location is the best spa experience I’ve ever had! And the steam room is a must after the scrub, ohh the pampering!

Aiden, Gavin and Colin were sooo great!! The golf cart with Aiden is so helpful for getting around the area and they are quick to pick you up. Had a great time!

The JW resort was amazing!! The beach is beautiful, but the service and staff are even better!!! The beach and resort was so clean and welcoming. Also wanted to shoutout our server Andi, cannot say enough good things about him!! From the moment we stepped on the beach to the moment we left, we felt so taken care of. No matter how busy he was, Andi always took the time to explain the menu/drinks, made wonderful recommendations, and chatted with us. He was so attentive, thoughtful, and funny! Cannot wait to come back!

JW Marriot stay was excellent would recommend. Brian in the beach area was a huge help. I had trouble due to knee surgery and went down in the sand. He helped me up and to the concrete area. Very thankful for Brian.

The hotel is good, our Valet Nick is super nice and helpful, loved his taste of sun glasses. Also helped a lot on guiding us where to go and the stores around

Shout out to the valet team - Nicholas T., James B., and Erik R. Excellent customer service! Also loved the hotel. First time staying at this hotel and will definitely be back! Very nice rooms, really enjoyed the beach and loved the rooftop bar. Drinks were great - I will say the food was pretty mediocre. But overall, fantastic experience.

Truly one of the nicest hotels for which I’ve had the pleasure to stay. Extremely well appointed rooms. Very clean and elegant. The views were spectacular and evening sunsets were beautiful. The staff here is exceptional. One young man in particular, Nicholas Tagliatela, went out of his way on multiple occasions to ensure we were having a good trip. Nick was ready to assist with whatever needs we had and offered many suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Super courteous and friendly, I can’t say enough about Nicholas. Highly recommend JW Marriott Clearwater Beach for your next stay.

Nicholas Tagliatela gave us the best service! So professional, attentive and makes great conversation. He’s very funny, and did everything we needed before we even asked. Nick elevated our experience and if you stay at JW Marriot, ask for Nick!
