Stunning views from the room

We booked based on the nice photos but we were unfortunately disappointed by many aspects of our stay: - The food was considerably bad with limited options (lacking juice for breakfast, starters and desserts) and half of the dishes on the menu were unavailable. The breakfast pancakes were literally inedible (acidic tasting) and the coffee was congealed. - Our dinner room service order remained uncleared by the next evening when we returned. - They rented us a scooter with a broken speedometer and fuel gauge. Due to this being a safety issue we requested a new scooter which they gave us the next day, however they initially tried to charge us for the first day before we questioned it. - There was no card machine to pay for the bill, which we were not warned about beforehand, noting the place is very isolated and the nearest ATM is a 20-min drive away. Overall the hotel has potential and the staff were friendly but unfortunately a lot of aspects need to be improved for it to meet the standards you would expect.

This place truly is a gem. Beautiful view, amazing big rooms and luxurious feel to the entire resort. The staff make you feel at home instantly. Would absolutely book here again.

Everything was perfect.

I liked that the room was very spacious. The facilities were good such as the room heater which was very needed for the cold temperature at night.

The lighting was quite dim in the room and amenities such as toothbrushes weren't in the room but the staff very kindly prepared it when asked.

The staff was so friendly! Lovely accommodation, very spacious rooms.

The walls are not sound proof.

I don’t know where to begin! I work in branding and interiors space and have solo travelled a lot, but this property was the best I’ve stayed in. The interiors are immaculate, the room is massive and the sunset view - the best in Munduk. But it doesn’t stop here, what made my stay special were the people, the management Yuni and her husband were so amazing - big hugs again. Madey and Kendran were so accommodating, helpful with the biggest smiles always. And they linked me to their driver who took me around the city and also clicked amazing pictures - Gede was wonderful. Without a doubt everytime I go to Bali, Munduk is on the list and I’m staying here again!

The staff is extremely nice and accommodated all of our requests. Food is great and the rooms are huge and beautiful

The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. The tour operator and taxi service (Gede Bali Taxi) is very professional and cooperative.

The stay was very comfortable and the staff members were too helpful. The mansion is too beautiful and we enjoyed every bit of it. Over that We would definitely like to thank Ms. Kendran for her efforts to bring back our stuff to Kuta which we forgot in Munduk. She is one of the best staff members you have. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Ms. Kendran for going just that little step extra for the guests!!! Loved the stay.. <3 Surely choosing this hotel for our next time in Munduk, Bali. Keep up the good work guys!! :-)
