"Everything you would want with a great view."

Everything you would want with a great view and location. Clean, updated, hugely spacious with a large stocked kitchens & game room. It's no fuss without employees onsite. Visit Foster Falls but stay here for a better lodging and restaurant experience. Walk to a restaurant, river walk and bike rail trail.

Locked doors but it's better to have them than onsite employees. The combo locks are much nicer than keys.

Generally good. Attention to details would move to a five star. There was a critical error in our room assignment. Upon our arrival we found a couple enjoying themselves in what we thought was pure room. We got locked once a someone had dead bolt locked the main entrance. The off site manager and the on site custodial couple were very attentive and helped us through the snags.

"Nothing fancy, but a good value!"

Locate. Right on the New River and associated bike path. Several large refrigerators in common area. Easy walk to river and a couple of restaurants.

Building was very old(1904???). Floors were slanted and rooms were small. Noisy too and one of the guests had a dog! (Didn’t think that was allowed.)

Very old property, which was cool the owner was very nice and friendly! Nice place to stay

Bed was very firm, wasn’t the most comfortable. Would have been nice to have a tv in the room.

"Wonderful, historic and charming"

This place is amazing! The hotel keepers were super friendly and helpful. Excellent location for biking new river trail. Gorgeous views of the dam from the back deck. Fries is a very sweet little town. I stayed with my husband and baby. We highly recommend Washington Inn!

Beautiful little Inn on the river. Quiet, trailhead nearby for biking. The hotel staff are immensely kind and accommodating. Bring your own food to cook in the kitchen.
