Very dirty
Lose the polyester sheets! The hinge on the bathroom door was broken; so I fixed it. Stingy with the coffee: one serving, in a ziplock bag? Come on. At $79 a night, this place would be a bargain, but not at $125.
It was okay
This was a shack! Not to be recommended at all!
Advertised as in the park. Far from it. Advertised and paid for breakfast. Was not available. Property in poor condition. Tv did not work. Power cords drop from ceiling and go every direction.
This was formerly the East Glacier Motel, now just called EGM. Owner met us at check-in and was super friendly and helpful. She gave us the choice between a room or a tiny cabin. We chose the room because it has a bit more space. The place is dated but adequate. I had hot water for a shower. There is no AC but it was cool at night and the room had a fan. My only real complaint is the bed linens were very worn and should be updated and our window towards the parking lot did not have a screen so we couldn't open it for a breeze. I would stay here again.
The owner tried frauding us out of $2995. Then claimed we didnt pay. No response for 2 1/2 mo’s. Weeds all around property. Full pot of old coffee upon arrival. No AC. Cardbrd box for tv stand. Like showering in a phone booth? TV was unusable, said license had expired. Cockroach’s. Rediculous wifi! Dont ever stay here! Make sure to make reservations earlier so that you’re not left with this as your only choice!
Although the workers were kind, the place itself was in horrible condition. From a few days after booking we felt like something was not right. This place should not be rented out. It said pay at property, payment came out within a day of booking. When inquiring about this, neither hotels.com or us could reach the property by phone/email. When inquiring about location, as it was noted in reviews this was not correctly listed, still no response from EGM. Upon arrival for our stay, we were asked our name and given a key. We were told the room does not have a pull out couch (which we needed) we took an alternative room that was available, to have a pull out couch. The room was disgusting, dirty towels in the shower, dirty underwear in the drawer, garbages overflowing. We booked a room for 8 guests. Both of the options when we arrived had not enough beds for 8, 6 maybe, with one being a broken pull out couch. When we complained at the desk, the lady did offer to have it cleaned and give us the other room in addition so we had enough beds. The smell of a dead animal outside our porch was disgusting, broken windows in adjacent rooms, dogs barking outside our windows. We would have not stayed here but had nowhere to go. We did not feel safe. Hotels.com was very unhelpful in all of this, which was extremely disappointing, as we have booked several times through them and they've been helpful. After multiple phone calls and complaints they gave us a min amt refunded in one key cash.
We had a pleasant stay at this property. The building was old and few things were broken but it did not affect so much. Our room was a 2 queen bed attached with a kitchen and bathroom. It is a great location close to glacier national park east entrance as well as glacier peaks casion in browning. The staff was friendly and we had a good experience altogether.
The property is run down and in disarray. Sink leaked onto floor, room AC units did not work. Unit didn't have a sleeper couch as described. Kitchenette basically NOT STOCKED at all. But we did manage to make a meal or two and improvise with what we found to use as plates (we only needed four!) But my family, we always make the best of it! We were joking about wondering what might happen when we take a shower :-) (it was fine). STAFF are VERY friendly. When they determined the unit didn't have the beds described - they gave us an additional single unit to accommodate the 'missing bed' for free. That was okay for us - since all are over 18 - but would have been bad for a family with smaller children. I would NOT stay again - but it did serve it's purpose - and was convenient location for East side of Glacier NP. Not many open options in July at Glacier NP when you book late like I did.
