AWOL Stowe

Excellent hotel for people who want to relax and enjoy cozy rooms. They have a hot tub and two fire pits absolutely would recommend for a wonderful getaway. The breakfast was extra extraordinary, homemade breads, and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Loved the thoughtful decor, mountain resort vibes, unique and delicious breakfast, and of COURSE the hot tub! We loved being walking distance from a few great restaurants and the Stowe Recreation Trail. The whole place smelled like fresh wood, and it was clear someone put a lot of care into the design and maintenance of the property.

I highly recommend! I stayed for a company retreat and enjoyed every part of my stay. The design of the space is incredible. There's a wonderful lodge are with a bar space and delicious breakfast each morning. The bed was so comfortable and the design of the room was an escape from chaos. It snowed during my time there and it felt like a living post card. The onsite team is wonderful as well!

Stay was perfect. The property is beautiful, very comfortable, great vibe, staff very friendly, and the breakfast spread is fantastic.

Broke my arm on the mountain. Decided to stay the full stay in Vermont because this hotel was so charming.

I stayed here for a weekend with my sister for a ski trip. The hotel is super close to the mountain and several restaurants. The hotel was clean and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. They had a hot tub, sauna, and a nearby hiking trail. My only complaint is that we did not stay long enough to truly enjoy what the hotel had to offer. Book your stay here, you won’t regret it. I look forward to coming back.

The place is beautiful with a personal touch everywhere. Breakfast was delicious with 4 different homemade breads, fresh fruit, homemade jams and so many other options. Coffre near fireplace and relaxing music in the morning set the mood for the day. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and room was big and clean. The only downside was that the hot tub was occupied by large company of people drinking beer there for hours so other skiers were not able to enjoy it even for 20 minutes. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Awol, thanks to everyone who helped, we'd like to be back.

Loved our stay. Everything about the property was so thought out and well done. Genuinely wanted to hang out in the lobby area cause it was so nicely decorated and cozy. Spent our days out on the mountain, would get dinner out and then got excited to come back and get a drink at the bar in the lobby and sit by the fire place. 10/10 stay.
