Lovely healthy breakfast

Perfectly relaxing and a classy rustic feel. I loved the homemade “everything” for breakfast and what they didn't make, they got locally. All of the people working here out front and behind the scenes made our stay perfect. Very clean also.

I couldn’t say enough about our experience at AWOL. We had the best time. Everything was so cute and clean, very stylish as well. We really enjoyed the hot tubs and the lounge as well as how pleasant staff was. Breakfast was great, I will miss it 😅

AWOL Stowe was literally perfection in my eyes. We stayed in the A frames and it was such a beautiful experience. Waking up and sitting on our porch and being able to see the mountains was one of my favorite things. I’m a mom and this place is adults only and I couldn’t be more grateful for that because sometimes a little getaway with just your girlfriends is such a good reset! It’s pet friendly, which I absolutely loved. The way it was decorated and put together was so beautiful. You can tell how much time and effort is put into the place. The food was delicious, and the breakfast spread was amazing, along with the atmosphere! We got to experience the hot tubs, while enjoying a fire, and you’re just minutes away from the cutest little town. 10/10 recommend this place, by yourself, with your significant other, or family and friends!!

We spent a reunion weekend at AWOL Stowe and were genuinely impressed. We booked several of the private cabins (the ones featured on their site), and they were even better in person—modern, cozy, and ideal for groups. A highlight was their “animal happy hour,” where locals and guests gather with their dogs. It created a warm, social vibe, and the bar served great cocktails and flatbread pizzas that exceeded expectations. The property itself is a great mix of vintage charm and modern design. There’s a mid-century-style main lodge plus newer, beautifully designed private cabins along a peaceful, stocked pond. It feels thoughtfully curated and incredibly relaxing. Location is excellent—just minutes from downtown Stowe and the mountains, but still quiet and uncrowded. Honestly, it felt like a well-kept secret. Highly recommend for couples, groups, or anyone looking for a boutique hotel experience that’s anything but generic.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. The service was impeccable. The property and rooms absolutely spotless. Everyone was super friendly. It’s close to town. The food on and off the property was all delicious! The hot tub the fire pit so many cute little things to enjoy 10/10 would highly recommend!!!
