Wonderful rooms and great breakfast. Hot tub and sauna can't be beat.

Interesting and fun hotel.

Great location

Newly updated, upscale and trendy motel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, small food menu with delicious options and included breakfast of fresh breads, yogurt, and quiche were perfect to start the day fresh.

Booked the king cabin, the room logistics don’t make sense for a ski hotel, brick entrance way with no mat - everything got wet and the floor was freezing (bathroom floor was also the closest floor I’ve ever experienced). Room had space heater in living room area (no other heat in living room section), no hooks for hand towels and extremely small bathroom, rug in bedroom felt dirty. After a storm the stairs and walkways to the cabins were not cleared at all (this was at 9 am from a storm the night prior) meaning luggage and bags had to be dragged through 6 plus inches of snow. For over $600 a night there are many better options in the Stowe area

This is a beautiful, stylish hotel. Rooms are gorgeous as is the lobby. We loved everything about our experience other than that there was absolutely no snow removal or plowing whatsoever. This is a location in Vermont that caters to skiers. We had to carry our bags from the parking lot to our room on the 2nd floor on unshoveled paths. It was slippery and dangerous.

We loved our weekend at AWOL. The property is stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. It’s breathtaking. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Sarah, made us feel so welcomed and guided us in the right direction for activities and dinning options. Very convenient, walking distance to town and 15 min ride to the ski site. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful place! The main area with the dining area is beautifully designed. The breakfast is delicious and healthy! The staff is so helpful and nice. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable! It's in walking distance of the town. Love the fire pit, hot tub and sauna as well! Highly recommend staying here!

From the friendly staff to the clean and comfortable rooms, the property met and often exceeded our expectations as a base for some x-country skiing in Stowe. Would definitely return and will recommend.
