I liked how clean and fresh it was. Very well maintained. Light, modern decor with a sea view and a very confortable bed.

Was surprised that there was no mirror at all for getting ready to go out, not even in the bathroom. Also couldn’t locate a tea towel.

The parking spaces were limited but fortunately there wasn't that many cars otherwise I don't think the little parking space couldn't fit 8 cars.

Good that it had a kitchen, room was spacious and clean. Good location. Nice sea view. Easy to check in.

It is so noisy, you hear everything, cars, drunk people. I feel that the windows could be more noise proof which would make a huge difference. I understand that the property is near to the beach but the windows were so dirty that you could barely see out of them. The curtains are very thin so the light comes in easily. Could do with more pillows. Parking says 8 cars but it’s not 8 cars that it can accommodate so maybe change this so that the expectation of a space is lowered. As a solo female stay I did wonder how often the room codes and building codes are changed so made me a little uneasy.

The building and the rooms are beautifully decorated, everything looks brand new, immaculate and really nice, just like the photos. Very handy on the sea front for some lovely little places to eat and we visited Cluck & Moo which is quirky, dog friendly and serves amazing food! In the height of summer it would be perfect, just take an extra blanket or 2! Seemed to be spotless clean from the short time we were there.

After I'd booked 2 pet friendly deluxe rooms for £154, I received an email to say check-in was 4pm and if I wanted an earlier check in it would cost £25. Seemed a very late time for check-in but I thought we would just go for a walk and for some food, so declined an early check-in. I then noticed there was no mention of pets on the booking so I queried this and was told I needed to pay for this on arrival which would cost £25. Not a problem, but this should have been part of the original booking really, not an 'add-on' later. We arrived just before 4pm, got to the room fine but then realised we'd only been sent details for 1 room. It took 45 minutes to get in touch for them once booking.com staff contacted them, to give us the code and number of the other room - panicking that they'd only booked 1 by mistake for 45 minutes - whilst FREEZING cold in room 7! The heating wasn't on when we arrived which wasn't ideal in January with snow and ice on the ground, but I just thought once the radiator warmed up it would be fine. It wasn't - 2 hours later, sat next to the radiator with hat, coat etc still on, we were still freezing! Room 6 was lovely and warm so I sent my sons in that room whilst I tried to get the problem resolved. In the meantime booking.com had been in touch with the hotel manager. They said they had no blankets (only a quilt on the bed) and no additional heater available. They refused to give us a refund but kindly offered to bring us a blanket for a cost of - you guessed it! £25! It was at this point we left, 2 hours in, freezing cold and pretty gutted. We did thankfully receive a full refund from booking.com 4 days later after they reviewed the evidence of the temperatures from the thermometer from my husband's watch (14 degrees in the room and 13 degrees in the shower room - it was ICY cold in there!

Mattress was comfortable.

The duvet was to small for the duvet cover. 1 thin pillow on each side of the bed. 10 rooms and lets be really even though the hotel stated you can fit 8 cars in the car park when there was 8 cars most of the cars are blocked in so the next at early hours people who needed to leave early would knock on everyones door to see who car was blocking people in. Unfinished work in the room for example unfinished plasterboard repair on the walls. No towel to dry the dishes.
