Black Pearl Luxury Apartments

The location was good - near the Tower and surrounding attractions. The room was ready for 15:00 check-in.

The place needs gutting and completely renovating. It’s worn out beyond belief, every single room is damaged - the ceilings are partly boarded over due to constant leaks, the walls are marked, “artwork” hangs crookedly, mirrors are broken, the hairdryer doesn’t work, the floors are filthy, the rugs are old and curling up presenting a very dangerous tripping hazard, the carpet in the smaller bedroom was sodden and stinking of damp/mould, the only working windows to the entire apartment overlook the road and that’s also where the property has its compulsory smoking area so all the fumes blow into the ground floor apartment and you have to listen to their conversations too… the shower is a death trap and needs fixing urgently - it’s stone cold for 20 mins at a time then goes BOILING hot suddenly for a few minutes, so much so it scalded my girlfriend who almost slipped and fell whilst screaming in pain trying to get out of the way (we didn’t risk trying to shower the kids in it!), the kitchen is dilapidated and not fit for purpose, lots of items broken and missing, pans pathetic, you couldn’t cook a meal there so we had to eat out for every meal. The whole place is an insult to hospitality and needs burning to the ground. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted at accommodation in all my life. It fails at every single level. The beds were dirty, hairs on the sheets, pillows and duvets pathetically thin, honestly terrible for sleep, for the ability to cook, the ability to wash, and the ability to relax (cushions missing off the sofas which were cheap and uncomfortable). DONT BOTHER!!!

We were a multi generational family and this was so much better than a family room in a hotel. 2 great shower rooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin with kitchen , living dining room and large tv. Hosts were super attentive to any concerns . Centrally located behind the tower .

Not a negative about property but we did hear drunken revellers during the night - possibly because of very busy weekend with the air show - because it’s a few streets back from the front .

Very clean apartments and facilities were excellent! Full working kitchen! Management communication excellent!

Location and facilities were fab! The apartment was clean and well organised. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fit for purpose and the decor was modern and well maintained.

Needed a few more glasses only prosecco and 3 tumblers but it sleeps 6. Also loose floor tile on the kitchen floor which concerned us in case it cracked with the children.

Nothing. Left after 10 minutes.

Apartment was filthy throughout. Flies everywhere. Broken chairs and ripped leather couch. Hairs in the bed, no toiletries. Carpets were not fit to walk on they were so dirty. Advertised as a LUXURY flat. It wasn't even habitable. Owners uncommunicative.

Very close to the beach, arcades, and city centre. Parking nearby, too.

The apartment was not very clean, and a lot of damage to the property. Smelt very damp too
