Tall Pines Lodge - Dog Friendly Nr Sutton on Sea

Location fine. livingroom kitchen and bathrooms can't fault. Faults with 2nd and 3rd bedroom. 2nd bedroom made smaller to allow a false floor to fit 3rd bedroom above. The 2nd bed was too small in length to make this work. Only 5ft8 and feet hit false wall at end. No room for even a bedside table. 3rd was just mattress on floor with sleeping bags. Do they wash sleeping bags each time? This no way should be advertised as a 3 bedroom property. It is not. 2nd and 3rd no use to adults.

Excellent stay overall, property, hosts and location were great. Extras such as coffee, milk, shower gel, hand soaps , and dog treat box are nice touches. The grandchildren loved the upstairs den. All very clean. It is a quiet peaceful site. Definitely intend to return.

It was spacious , warm and modern. The TV was a good size but the sound even through the sound bar was poor. Added bonus of washer and dryer if needed. WiFi a godsend for my son . Beds were super comfortable

The site wasn't what we were expecting. It wasn't very well kept and too far away to walk to anything . Only 2 bedrooms despite all the beds. Main bedroom was lovely. Bed comfortable with lovely en suite. No storage other than the wardrobe and only 10 hangers for the whole accommodation. Could do with some drawers or shelves inside the wardrobe . Bedroom 2 had a double bed. I'm 5 ft 6 and struggled to stretch out. Up some steps in the same room the 2nd double and at the back of that a single. Yes all in one room. We went as a couple with a child with another couple and my daughter in her twenties so these sleeping arrangements didn't suit our needs. The hairdryer was cheap and cut out after 2mins because it was getting too hot. The front door was stiff to open and scrapped the floor. No kitchen worktop to work on when your cooking . The sofa and cushions were dirty . We could only use the shower in the ensuite because we couldn't get the main bathroom shower hotter than luke warm. Only table seating for 4 people . One of the doubles and the single bed had sleeping bags not quilts. Non of this would have bothered us other than the fact we paid more than we usually would for the luxury aspect.

Location was wonderful short walk to beach and lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped

We all had a fantastic stay, 5 Adukts over August bank holiday. Facilities were great everything you could need *****

Location was really good very peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. The shower was really good to looking at buying one at home now.

The lodge we lovely it was clean and had everything you wanted or needed. It had an amazing shower as well. The dogs were safe and secure with the bench box across the deck. Also, the upstairs den was a hit with our 20-month-old girl. The pond out front is new, and once it has settled and grown vegetation will be amazing too. We had a great time. The photos of the lodge don't do it justice.

Deck ramp was a bit slippery.

We loved it so much the waterside lodge is exceptionally decorated and clean. The hosts where always friendly and happy to help and accommodate

There is nothing about waterside lodge to dislike

Lovely location by small lake with lots of Birds to watch. Absolutely stunning lodge. Very clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms with super showers. Lots of thoughtful touches with everything provided that you could need. Large decking area with furniture. Appreciated the two ceiling fans. Large American fridge freezer and very large tv were luxuries we loved. Enjoyed the walk from the lodge to the beach.
