Charming Woodland Lodge 2 person 1 bedroom

The lodge is situated in such a quiet woodland area, with amazing views (we saw SO MUCH wildlife that we wouldn’t see normally!) and it is truly stunning. Comfortable bed and sofa, everything you could need inside and it was honestly just like a home from home!

So cosy and well appointed. Juliet and David have done a wonderful job creating this little hideaway. Goodies on arrival very welcome and handy shop not far away. Everything is brand new . Your hosts are only too eager to help make your stay memorable. The village was awash with flowers for Filby in bloom.

Had everything you need , lovely and bright throughout , very clean , amazing homemade cakes , bottle of wine in the fridge , lovely hosts , couldn’t ask for more. I Would definitely recommend staying here.

I found the mattress a little hard for my liking ( just my opinion ) it may be perfect for others.

Was really well presented has everything you need. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and had soap. Not the little complimentary bottles full size bottle. The cupboard are stocked with herbs salt pepper cooking oil and everything you need to cook up a meal. The host provided fresh bread, mini jams homemade cakes that were delicious! The towels were so thick and soft too!. Definitely recommend this lodge to anyone 👌

The property is beautiful and so clean! Juliet the host left us home made cakes and gave us fresh bread, jam and milk for our arrival and was so hospitable! The whole stay was wonderful and relaxing - we will definitely be booking again!

This was a wonderful place to stay. There was every convenience one needed. We were surprised by cakes and crunchy bread when we arrived on Sunday. Most restaurants were closed by then and we appreciated having an evening snack of bread, cheese and salami sandwiches. Our hosts provided us with brochures of various adventures which we took advantage of. This was one of our best stays.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like.

Very clean and cosy with all the amenities that you require if you want to self cater. The lodge as a welcoming contemporary design with High spec kitchen and bathroom appliances.
