Bodo Hostel

Three location is very convenient, close to Bishkek Park mall, many good places to eat around, cozy common area, interesting people and friendly staff. Elmira was our favorite, very funny and nice to converse to :) Some of the guests are staying there for a long term, they’re also very nice. The bathrooms and the rooms were always clean, we could change our bed sheets and towels every two days, which is convenient. The kitchen has all the necessary things to cook, but we were mainly eating outside of the hostel.

In some nights the roommates were a little bit noisy or left the door open, so the noise from common area was audible in the room. Overall it’s a normal thing, when you’re sharing a room with 7-8 other people :)

Comfiest hostel I stayed in during my stay in Bishkek

Perfect location right in the middle of the main streets. Super clean and well maintained hostel. I had previously stayed in a cheaper Bishkek hostel, but this one was well worth the small cost increase for much more comfort.

New hostel, which means new bedrooms and bathrooms and that definitely comes with its perks. I stayed in the women-only room and it was very clean and organised. The bathrooms are new and comfortable, they all had a hair-drier which I very appreciated in the winter.

The lockers might be a bit small for some backpacks and there isn't space to safely store them inside the room, so make sure to bring a lock if that worries you. There are very few bathrooms / toilets for how many people stay in the hostel. The vibe is a bit weird, not going to lie, mostly men who I think live there long term lounging in the common area playing video games or looking at their phones. If you're looking for more of a traveller vibe, would not recommend staying here.

Not only the best hostel in Bishkek, but actually the best I've ever stayed in - and I'm a rather frequent traveler. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Here you can always meet awesome people from all around the globe, including locals from other towns, who also prefer to stay here when traveling to Bishkek. Comfy beds, nice shower, friendly atmosphere - all this at a reasonable price. Чоң рахмат!
