West Palm Hotel

The hotel is quiet and the breakfast was simple but tasted good. I suggest you order breakfast at least 15 minutes before you go to get it or else you end up waiting. The place needs alot of updating. Too many steps, it is not friendly to the elderly, playful children or those with physical disabilities. The price to stay and the location is not bad. Lots of outdoor activities such as boating, kayaking, fishing, water park and beach bathing are nearby, however at the hotel itself only a pool is available but no lifeguard is ever on duty. The hotel is a unique experience. Good luck.

Had to switch rooms because of a foul odor and then the TV remote didn’t work, I had to get a different remote for the A/C. It was too much confusion and back and forth.

Breakfast was disappointing and the tv in the room never worked. Facility is a bit run down but the pool is open 24/7. Staff were friendly. Despite this and even being put in the wrong room, I’d likely give them another try

Low wayer pressure in the bathroom and issue with the toilet not flushing properly

My stay at West Palm was the highlight of my stay in Trinidad & Tobago. The staff —every single one of them— were so amazing. They were so helpful and friendly from check in, to during my stay, to checkout. The breakfast was so delicious and well prepared I had to cancel lunch one day because they fed us so much. Amazing chefs! Simply Amazing! I will definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

Honestly I never make any negative review, specially because all business can take a chance to improve their services, however this hotel should be closed now. No cable TV, the AC worked only one night, the next night And couldn’t sleep because of hot weather and defective AC. The breakfast is just like nothing, and all local people I’ve interacted in town made bad comments about the hotel. Do yourself a favor and save some frustration. Find other hotel. Pictures are attached to prove my review. By the way, I think I was the only guest there. Done my prepaid booking online, and no option to cancel. Breakfast served in a super nasty dirty tray . Not much to say. Property is a bit run down, and the included breakfast was not awesome. The pool was lovely, but did not use as we were busy. Staff is very friendly and welcoming

They are located too far from the International Airport.

I have stayed at West Palm twice. The staff at the front desk is nice. But this hotel is the most poorly run dirty dump I have stayed at in a long time. The management / owners don't spend any money on basic upkeep. The place is in shambles, falling apart everywhere. Barely anybody staying there, half deserted. COCKROACHES running around the room all day. Random mix of half broken furniture. Dirty stained sheets. The pool is nice (if clean). The "breakfast" is horrible. The only reason to stay here is it is across the street from Peake if you are working on your boat there. Avoid if you can. Needs a new owner, major investment, and basic competence in how to run a hotel.
