Royal Islander Resort La Plage

Everything about this property was great! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing - right next to Maho beach and a short taxi ride to the airport. Plus there’s a lot to do around the property that is easy to walk to, like a casino and shops and restaurants.

Hotel charged me twice for my stay, i have called and emailed them multiple times and noone ever calls me back or seems to care. They just took my money (twice) and refuse to answer any requests for a refund or why they even charged me twice

El hotel tiene la ubicacion perfecta, cuenta con playa privada, estabal lado de la pista de aviones por lo que podíamos ir a verlos pasar y aterrizar, cuenta con mercadeo al frente, restaurantes. La habitación es muy grande, cómoda, bien dotada con mas de lo necesario. Tiene piscina y una vista hermosa. 10 de 10

La zona de piscina no tenia baños, ni bar, aunque solo pasamos un dia en el hotel. Hace mucha falta. Dicen que tienen parqueadero, pero no es dentro del hotel toca caminar para dejar el carro y recogerlo, cuesta 8 dólares la noche, no esta incluida en la tarifa.

La ubicación es estratégica, frente a la playa, cerca del aeropuerto, frente a un supermercado y restaurantes. Se disfruta el paso de los aviones.

Tiene sus años. La presión de la ducha y la iluminación no era la mejor.

My review is on Nina Persaud. Nina has always been warm , kind , and helpful. Whenever I have encountered a problem with my rooms, towels , money , absolutely anything, Nina is always the first person that I go to, and she goes right to work to solve my issue. I am proud to call her my friend!

I just returned from the Royal Islander La Plage. I can’t say enough of how the staff is so friendly and helpful especially their manager Nina. She greats almost everyone by their name, which means more like family than just a guest. The units are very clean and well kept. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is just steps from your room. With a multiple of restaurants right outside the resort it is a perfect location. I will be returning in the summer and look forward to another wonderful. Vacation.
