Royal Islander Resort La Plage

The Royal Islander La Plage was a perfect match for our trip this year. The 1 st week we brought our grandson with his significant girl friend. This resort is perfect for us as we have been going to La Plage for many years. While taking our grandson to the airport he commented that when they return to the Island in the future they will definitely stay at La Plage. Saying the room was perfect (2 bedroom), they commented on how friendly everyone is and how wonderful the views were from the room. The entire Maho area gave them plenty to do on their own. We also saw that we had a small water leek at 9:30pm, called maintenance and they were at our door within 10 minutes, fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Very friendly maintenance m an.

We are fortunate enough to be spending eight weeks at the Royal Islander this year. We are here now and as usual Nina, Kalisha, Janelle, and all the staff provide top quality surface to us. I can say nothing bad in fact, quite the contrary. The water is beautiful. The beach has come back. The Tortuga restaurant is always great Service don’t hesitate to come. You won’t be disappointed.

Location is great with a nice beach on your doorstep. Good wifi, beds and televisions.

Felt a bit «vintage» - needs modernization in near future.

Absolutely horrible…changed rooms multiple times and then told to leave when the Caribbean became a no fly zone…no service…dirty and smelly and moldy smelling rooms where nothing works…you can do a whole lot better elsewhere
