Royal Islander Resort La Plage

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly, and the location is perfect. We will return in the future

We recently returned from our 2 week stay at the Royal Islander, Club LaPlage, St Maarten. We have traveled to The Islander for the past 25 years and have never been disappointed. The entire staff at the resort is to be commended for their continuous service. The resort is always very well maintained, from the beautiful landscaping and grounds, to the pool and beach area, the Tortuga restaurant, the rooms and the general overall facilities. The entire resort staff can been seen working every day to insure everything is picture perfect. The resort is located in the heart of the Maho Beach area. The area is very safe with many shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and casino within a very easy walk from just outside the front door of the Royal Islander. Whether you want to travel the island or just stay local the Royal Islander is the perfect resort to do so. From just relaxing pool side or sitting on the adjacent beach while enjoying a cool drink and watching beautiful sunsets, the Islander has it all. A very special tip of the hat goes to Management staff lead by Nina and reserevations specialist Kalisha. Both go above and beyond to insure our stay is always perfect in every way.

De locatie is top, zoveel verschillende eetopties op loopafstand of bij het hotel zelf. Ik heb geen gebruik gemaakt van hun ontbijt, maar was vaak bij de zaak Papaya's aan de overkant van de straat.

De badkamers zouden we wel mogen updaten. Ik kreeg er een beetje 90s vibe bij, zouden best kunnen updaten naar een meer modern hedendaagse inrichting, vooral een douchegordijn ben ik zelf ook niet een voorstander van.

The location was great . On sight resturant was excellent .. the Tortuga. Small quaint bar in the lobby for the evening night cap. Amazing pool. On the ocean . Watch the planes arrive!!! Very friendly staff. Large suites , very clean! . Casino across the street…the Roma and the OPA , Greek resturant are very good.. we plan on returning!!

I always have the absolute best experience here! From the food, the rooms to the service, everything is a 10! Jenel at the front desk is the best and one of the reasons I continue to return. Great customer service is not always easy to find but I’ve hit the jackpot here. If you’re considering this property, look no further than. You will be extremely happy.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Royal Islander Club La Plage to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. The property is immaculate and the staff is great. We will be returning in the future.
