The host Francesco is absolutely incredible! My partner and I did a lot of research prior to our booking to make sure we stay at the best accomodation, one thing we didn’t realise when booking here was not only were we getting an incredible accomodation with a great clean and beautiful place to stay but we were also getting a new friend in our host Francesco who made our stay absolutely amazing. If you visiting Bari, we highly highly recommend 12 Passi Dal Mare. Really safe, clean, local, comfortable accommodation and the host Francesco will make sure you have the best time with local recommendations and support like no other host we’ve ever experienced. Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay in a local village. The host, Francesco, is so warm, friendly and so helpful. He picked me up at night at the airport and drove me back on his scooter. The room was super nice and clean. Loved everything.

It’s not the fault of the property, just be aware that all local beaches are all rocks. The property has a stool and an umbrella to use. If you want a sandy beach, you can go to Lido San Francesco, which is only 2 train stops and some walk away.

Where to begin? We loved everything. In terms of accommodation we had all the necessary ammenities and the room was very clean. The location could not have been better, and we enjoyed relaxing in the yard so much over aperitivo and aperol spritz that we could barely leave to visit Puglia. But the crown jewel is Francesco, who is an extraordinary man and the definition of hospitality. He made us feel like home. Every day he brought us fresh croissants and each interaction with him was an absolute pleasure. When he found out that my fiancee and I got engaged his reaction was genuine, as if we were family - which is exactly what we actually felt like during our 1 week stay. He went into town and got us a gift - a good luck totem - which we'll forever treasure. One thing is for sure: we're looking forward to the day when we'll get back to Bari and enjoy another vacation at 12 Passi dal mare.

We definitely recommend this place - beautiful, quiet, without tourists, where you can relax and also have fun or long walks. Delicious food, a store nearby, great and friendly people. The accommodation itself is absolutely of a very high standard with an excellent, friendly and sympatic host Francesco, who added indescribable added value to the whole vacation in the form of croissants for breakfast at the door, beach items (umbrella, chairs, towels), tips for good trips and restaurants. The whole vacation left us with wonderful feelings. Thank you and we will definitely come back to this place.
