"Lovely spacious accommodation. Great location for early and late riverside walks. Staff very friendly and eager to assis"

Excellent location close to Kruger fence and river walks. Not in a main busy road so set slightly back and private. Pool was amazing, as were the braai facilities. Beds all comfy. No shortage of fans to keep cool. Sufficient freezer and fridge space. Lovely bonfire pit for evening relaxing.

One or two very minor maintenance items required, but these didn’t affect the overall enjoyment of our stay.

"Great time in the Laeveld, at a great location."

Great location. Great swimming pool and kitchen had everything that we needed. We enjoyed evenings under the deck, with the wild life. Feeding bins for the animals could be looked at.

we had a small problem with one of the toilettes, but our host was very accommodating and had a resolution up her sleeve

"Well worth every dime/cent/penny we spent. Will do it again soon."

For self catering accommodation the house was very well prepared and all the appliances, utensils, etc. were available. The location and surroundings was what was expected from a bush excursion, and we were very happy with our stay. We expected the restaurants and shops to be expensive, as the park is not located close to big towns, but it was actually the opposite. Very affordable and convenient. Animals are tame and in abundance.

The electricity supply to the house failed on occasion where we had the washing machine and microwave and air conditioning running at the same time. Although we were prewarned and we tried to avoid it, it still happened. For us personally it was not a problem, as we went to the bush to be in the bush, but this might be a concern of people with medical needs reliant on electricity. Electrical feed upgrades started on the property a few days before we left, so this might already be sorted by now.
