"It's a long way from anything so don't expect to be going out much, not that you need to."

It host was amazing! She was so attentive and went out of her way to make us feel at home! She cooked us an amazing meal and chatted with us. A truly authentic Japanese experience.

The location is beautiful and quiet. The rooms are huge, the bathroom has an amazing bath and the home cooked dinner was a real added bonus!

"Perfect landing spot for a multiday Island bike trip"

Nice rooms with more than enough space 4. Right in the middle of islands so it really a perfeft spot if you spend more than one day on the islands. Our host was amazing: very nice and welcoming, and the home cooked food was truly out-of-this-world. The shabushabu was the best we have had in Japan. Her flexibility with the menu was well appreciated: our kiss loved her karage chicken at dinner, so more large chicken was on the menu for our Japanese-style breakfast. We would come back here in her heartbeat.
