Depending on the weather ie) wind and rain it is noisy due to the type of ceiling/roof Could do with a freezer compartment as we needed ice but couldn’t keep it frozen

Loved the location, so peaceful. Such an amazing space to stay to chill out. Can’t wait to stay again.

Nothing, a space to unwind.

The location was phenomenal. Surrounded by the lush rolling hills of Cornwall in the midst of equestrian activity, the Old Water Works is a great candidate for the most peaceful offering on Booking.com. The proximity to such pristine Cornish coastal destinations as Port Issac, Tintagel and Port Quin makes the property an ideal base for day trips exploring this magnificent region. And when you get your fill of Cornish coastal charm, most definately take James' suggestion of exploring the Bishops' Wood filled with trails through a beautiful verdant wilderness.

The kitchen was great for saving money that might have been spent on resturants and getting a bit of salad in our systems but was found to be lacking a few items (salt, pepper, sponge, dish cloth, coffee apparatus) that would have made it complete. Directions for operation of the dishwasher might have avoided a 4.5 hour washing cycle and the beam over the sink could use a cushion or perhaps a helmet provided (ouch!). The fridge came strangely stocked with food items other guests must have left. The bathroom was lacking extra rolls of toilet paper as well as a shelf to put toiletries on. The lack of a robust internet signal made the bit of connecting with the outside world very nearly impossible.

Property was neat and tidy. The kitchen was fully equipped. Overall, it was amazing staying there.

Possibly consider putting up a rail to hang clothes

Amazing accommodation with all the essential amenities & the comfiest bed ever. Really well situated for exploring Cornwall and set on a lovely little farm. The family who owns it were extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come back again!

The wifi was a bit spotty which I didn't mind (and which I expected since it was disclosed in the reviews already) but mentioning it as I know it can be essential to some

Nice quirky upstairs loft space with living/dining room, kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom. Well furnished, bright and airy with skylight windows, nice woodland walks nearby. Easy parking nearby, WiFi included, electric heaters, bath and shower, kitchen was well equipped with dish washer but no freezer.

Could do with updating and though fairly clean, it was dusty in places especially windows. No wardrobes for clothes but plenty of drawers.

I couldn't fault this place even if I tried. I didn't know it was on a farm to start (its equestrian tho, so no cows or sheep lol) but it's stunning the facilities are great and the bed was so comfortable... although too comfortable. The sheets were so soft ! We wanted to check where they were from before we left and forgot. The owner sent a lovely message to check in Everything was so lovely and we had the best stay :) would stay again for sure
